For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

Actually, kai can be translated as "even". You are coming across as a narrow-eyed crotch inspector.

For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

One of those men was Jesus, and the other two were angels, if you study that story more carefully. That is my belief. They are three distinct individuals, yet one Person/God. He says "I AM" not "We are."

Salvation is through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Through faith we are the righteousness of the Lord in Christ. Our identity is that we are righteous in Him, regardless of whether we blow it (Romans 4:5). I believe that when we begin to understand that our true identity is that we are righteous in him, we will begin to live practically in...

What I actually believe -- sharing love of Christ

Hi @Jane_Doe22, Knowing that you have an aversion to anything that might be considered "proselytizing", I feel that the love of Christ compels me to say something along that line anyway, to plant a little "seed" in your mind, just to think about. I don't expect it to convert you on the spot or...

Salvation is through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

That can be misunderstood into the concept that we are constantly being made better and never reach the plateau of entire sanctification, however; instead of the reality that we become entirely sanctified and then the Lord keeps us there through continual cleansing.

For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

The doctrine I have set forth on the true nature of the Trinity (For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this) is highly defensible. Did you look up the references that I gave for each statement within the whole of my statement on the doctrine?

For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

Even the Trinitarian Creeds specifically state that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are distinct; not separate. If anyone wants to contend that the individuals within the Trinity are separate, I would contend that their doctrine is Tritheism and not the true Trinity. PS you should capitalize...

For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

I believe that their take on things is that the natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of the Lord (1 Corinthians 2:13-14 (kjv)) and therefore the method of evangelism is not to convince people of doctrine that they can't ever receive apart from receiving the Holy Ghost. Therefore...

Salvation is through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

When you walk in the light as He is in the light, it is like you are constantly in the bathtub. The Greek tense of the word "cleanseth" indicates a continual cleansing, in 1 John 1:7.

My everyday prayer (recommended for you also).

Part I: Abba Father, I ask You to illuminate Your word to us today, I seek Your face (Psalms 27:8) and I look to You, and am saved (Isaiah 45:22). Please speak to our hearts and minds today and teach us what You would have us to know and understand. Let not Your word return void but...

For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

I am going to have to cease to argue with you on this issue; and we will agree to disagree.

For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

I feel that they have misrepresented the Oneness position. In Jesus all the fulness of the Godhead does indeed dwell bodily (Colossians 2:9). The name of "the son that was given" shall indeed be called "the everlasting Father" because of the zeal of the LORD of hosts (Isaiah 9:6-7). What I...

For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

So then, 1 Corinthians 14:1 is not for today...and therefore I can do with any scripture that I come across what you have done with this scripture...I can reject it and say it is not for today and therefore not for me. i.e. smorgasborg religion.

    Is your tattoo faith based?

I would say that law-keeping, when the motivation is love for God rather than seeking to be justified, is biblical as a practice (and something that we ought to do), according to Hebrews 8:8-10, Hebrews 10:16, Romans 8:4, Romans 8:7, and Romans 5:5 w/ Galatians 5:14, Romans 13:8-10, 1 John 5:3...

For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

I have found that it places personal holiness as a requirement for the assurance that is spoken of.

How Free Will Destroys the Gospel

So then, if the dead cannot hear, as has been contended, then one must be born again (made alive) before he or she can "hear" the gospel unto faith for salvation/being born again.

    Is your tattoo faith based?

I will only say that I will be called greater in the kingdom because I believe that the whole of the OT law applies (Matthew 5:17-20). However, if you don't, it doesn't put you out of the kingdom: it only means you will be called less in the kingdom...

For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

I have had assurance issues my whole Christian life; because one of the first scriptures that I ever read was Matthew 7:21-23.

How Free Will Destroys the Gospel

I'm not so sure that quickened = regeneration: especially if someone can gain faith by hearing and regeneration is the effect. If someone cannot hear apart from being quickened, and quickened = regeneration, then I cannot hear apart from regeneration, which would make it impossible for anyone...
