The good man that turned bad out of necessity

If he's God, wouldn't the question be rhetorical? :IDK:

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

So do most people. But I don't think it's anything to be afraid of. That being said, it doesn't go over well with church goers. They want Christianity to be a certain way. They want to immediately go to heaven upon death. Nonexistence, even if for just a blink of an eye, sounds terrible...

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but I don't think you should go around calling other people savages when engaged in civil discourse. And we return to that state of nonexistence after death as well, Christian or not.

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

It's simply an explanation. Why are you so afraid of dying anyway? We've already experienced death before: the time before we were born. I knew a Christian once that believed Christians that believed in a spherical earth were going to hell.

No. Evolution doesn't promise anything. Then why do so many, the majority in fact, believe it?

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

You know, you're kind of cheating by having this AI in your corner. What are your thoughts on the other planets that exist in the solar system? I ask because what if humanity manages to colonize another planet before Jesus returns? It would make rebuilding the temple somewhat of a moot point...

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

Why did they think that though?

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

Jesus was supposed to return when his disciples were still alive. One by one, they all died, and no return of the messiah. And here we are today asking the same question: where is he? If we apply occam's razor, he hasn't returned because he was a first century Jew, a human, that was executed by...

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

So you would let a loved one be set ablaze instead of killing the person trying to do it? I bet your family members would love to hear that.

Love your enemies, become a nation of pacifists, and you will be conquered or enslaved by a people that don't share those values. That historical record is very clear. Even a self-proclaimed pacifist nation like Japan has a standing military for self-defense.

It's October: What's your favorite horror movies?

Ain't that the truth. Gotta have soft toilet paper though. It's non-negotiable. :funlaugh2

How does an engineer have an interest in theology? Seems contradictory to me.

Because I enjoy talking about myself. Why else? :funlaugh2
