So why would a God who had no beginning and has always been around create the earth 4.5 billion years ago? Or for YECs no more than 10,000 years ago?

Can anyone explain what God was doing before creating earth? If you're reply is creating the universe then you must concede that the universe had a beginning, then you'd need to explain what God was doing before he created the universe and so on and so on.

There are plenty of explanations,theories and speculation but to be honest I don’t know. It is well accepted in the scientific community that the universe had a beginning

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but I don't think you should go around calling other people savages when engaged in civil discourse.
