Actually we are born by amniotic fluid. It's not water at all. Jesus is wise and it's highly improbable that he would get water and amniotic fluid mixed up.

Thanks for that explanation. You made some good points worth considering. It appears to confirms the ancient interpretation of being born again, that the water spoken about is surely baptismal water and certainly not the amniotic fluid of birth which is not water at all.
