    Revelation chapter 11 questions

Satan is a Cherub who once served in the temple, and he has been granted occasional returns to heaven. "War in heaven" (Revelation 12:7-17) suggests there will be a future last effort of Satan and his angels to gain access to heaven, before they are thrown down to the earth again. Jesus and...

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

Suggestion: o. Take a look at Revelation 21:22 (rapture). o. The rapture removes believers from the FOLLOWING bowl judgments. o. Hence PRE- tribulation. o The rapture is described in Revelation 14:-17-20. o. Also in 1Thessalonians 4:15.-17. o. If you believe Jesus is Lord, then shouldn't you...

    Revelation chapter 11 questions

Jay Ross noted: <I do not believe that the scriptures support your understanding.> "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came among them." (Job 1:6) Let us understand that Satan was thrown down long ago (Ezekiel28:14-17). Also, the book...

    Revelation chapter 11 questions

Satan is apparently allowed occasional visits to the temple in heaven (Job 1:6-12). I doubt whether his angels are allowed, rather he is the spokesman.

    Revelation chapter 11 questions

The Jews are God's chosen people, and I honor them as such (Exodus 19:5). Some of them are regenerate, some are not. I am a gentile, but Jesus's sacrifice paid the penalty for me as well ("fellow heirs," Ephesians 3:6). I know my place. The "locusts" (fallen angles) are not allowed to...

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

Truth717 noted: <tribulation *starts* when the Abomination takes place> IMO: o. The abomination (antichrist professing to be God) triggers the great tribulation (see Matthew 24:21). o. Rapture then occurs, removing believers from the scene: "So he who was seated on the *cloud* swung his sickle...

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

"Anti-Christ" has the etymology: o. "anti" = "in place of" o. "Christ" = Jesus The Pope never claimed to take the place of Jesus.

Two witnesses: o. Enoch (Genesis 5:24) o. Elijah (2Kings 2:11) Both were taken to heaven, never having died.

The rise of Babylon in the end times is described in Revelation chapter 18.

The U.S. did something similar to the rapture before dropping an atomic bomb on Hiroshima and on Nagasaki. They dropped leaflets warning civilians to GET OUT.

The wine press was a large box in which grapes were squashed by *feet* (not by an iron rod). "I have *trodden* the wine press alone; from the nations no one was with me." (Isaiah 63:3)

The sharp sword was metal: iron or steel or bronze. The wine press was a wooden box, wherein grapes were squished with bare feet to extract the juice. The rod of iron (usually wood) was used as a weapon.

The rapture is mentioned five times in the New Testament: John 14:2-3 1Corinthians 15:51-53 1Thessalonian 4:15-17 Revelation 11:12 Revelation 14:16

You asked for support, and I gave two citations. In fact the pre-millennial rapture is mentioned SEVEN times in the Bible. BTW calling these verses symbolic, with no support, is begging the question (which is a logical fallacy).

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

How about this: "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and...

IM0: "Rod of iron" (Revelation 9:25) reflects Psalm 2:9, and indicates "absolute authority."

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

"Whore of Babylon" was commonly thought to be Rome, or in modern times thought to be the Catholic Church. I would rather say "whore of Babylon" refers to the rebuilt city of Babylon. It was persued by Saddam Hussein, until U.S. forces killed him, put him in a sack, and threw him overboard the...

"...They came to life and ruled with Christ and reigned with Christ for a thousand years." (Revelation 20:4) "Then I saw a *new heaven and a new earth,* for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more." (Revelation 21:1) "...death shall be no more..."...
