I agree... you don't seem to have followed the conversation entirely. Who is "they?" Holy laughter, to my knowledge, is largely experiential. There is nothing written about it in Scripture, unless you co-opt verses about JOY, which is related but not really the thing.

I'm a believer in Holy Laughter. Grew up in a Pentecostal church. Seen that in the wild. Honestly, I've never seen anyone question it, outside of those who believe that all gifts have ceased.

There's such thing as holy laughter. Been there; seen that. Your experience seems to be one of the devil counterfeiting God's gifts. It happens all the time with tongues, too. That doesn't mean you should completely throw out the original gift.
