Amen. When the Lord revealed that to me, that "He speaks to us in parables", it opened up a wealth of riches in His word that I had never seen before. (As long as we don;t turn it into a carnal minded formula and start making parables where God doesn't intend.)

Yes, the things that happened, happened...there are literal things and events that represent things in allegory. But not everything written is literal at all. Pillars that the earth is set upon in scripture is not talking at all about literal pillars like the pylons underneath an office...
