    Can a tare become saved?

That passage isn't teaching it is impossible for them to be saved. It is teaching that if they fall away after having been saved it is then impossible for them to regain their initial saved status at that point. IOW, that passage is yet another passage that proves NOSAS is Biblical.

When did the 2nd temple literally initially cease being the holy place?

In the Discourse, is Jesus all over the place? Where one minute He is talking about first century events, then the next minute He is talking about events involving His 2nd coming, then the next minute He is once again talking about 1st century events? So on and so on. An example. Matthew 24:14...

    Can a tare become saved?

Yet someone else that understands some of these things in the same manner I do. Great post! Very well reasoned.

    Can a tare become saved?

Logically, that's what the Amil view should have happening if Amil was actually true. But since Amil isn't true that's why the Amil view doesn't agree with the text. Instead of what the text plainly says--that he should deceive the nations no more while he is bound---Amil can't have it meaning...

A proof that the 1000 year reign of Christ with His people is in the heavenly throne room, not the earth

Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests : and we shall reign on the earth. How about here, for one? Compare with the following. Both have what I underlined in common. Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second...

All who are not taken up to meet the Lord in the air when He comes will be left behind and killed.

The problem in my case might not be your view, but might be that I'm not fully grasping what you are meaning. It's going over my head for some reason. I'm not entirely certain what you are trying to say over all. In the meantime, I'm still thinking along these lines below. Personally, I think...

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

A 'place' whether spiritual or literal, would have to be 'location', would it not? If you had said this instead---and I’m guessing it’s a spiritual condition--in this case a location of some kind wouldn't be applicable, since it doesn't imply a location while 'a place' does. If meaning a...

All who are not taken up to meet the Lord in the air when He comes will be left behind and killed.

Apparently, I do though, the fact I think the thousand years are the first thousand years of the NHNE, and that I take the ones meant in Zechariah 16, for example, to be mortals. Is history going to go down like this? To this day not one single mortal has ever lived an entire thousand years. A...

Hidden in plain sight: Why I believe this about the Revelation

What you are not factoring is that he does not stay bound all the way up unto being cast into the LOF. he is loosed a little season first. The point being, if everything you brought up applies to his binding, what does all of that mean when he is no longer bound? It has to mean the opposite of...

A proof that the 1000 year reign of Christ with His people is in the heavenly throne room, not the earth

Now you need to show how all that doesn't contradict Revelation 3:21, the fact that verse teaches, in light of Matthew 25:31, for instance, that overcomers don't sit with Christ in Christ's throne until He returns first.

A proof that the 1000 year reign of Christ with His people is in the heavenly throne room, not the earth

I don't get upset about it, I don't recall it ever making me angry. I just don't see it being reasonable that any one person can always be right about everything and never be wrong about anything. As to me, there are numerous things I haven't even fully made up my mind about one way or the...

All who are not taken up to meet the Lord in the air when He comes will be left behind and killed.

I found the following article earlier this morning. It is somewhat lengthy, though. The article makes perfect sense out of the parable. And the way it seems to me, the only position that this parable can possibly fit is Premil. No other position could possibly fit it. Here are relevant excerpts...

All who are not taken up to meet the Lord in the air when He comes will be left behind and killed.

Luke 19:12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. Luke 19:27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me. According to verse 12 there are only 2 places...

When did the 2nd temple literally initially cease being the holy place?

I was responding to @Spiritual Israelite in regards to you since he was talking about you in that portion of his post that I quoted and was addressing. Basically, I support your approach in this case since your approach was exposing the holes in @Spiritual Israelite view, though I'm sure he...

When did the 2nd temple literally initially cease being the holy place?

Let's take you for example since I'm trying to understand where you are coming from. Let's say that you die before Christ returns and that you of course go to heaven. At this point you are dead back on earth. At this point there has been no resurrection of the dead event yet. Except for 2000...

When did the 2nd temple literally initially cease being the holy place?

What this little season tells us though, is this. It tells us when they initially ask what they ask. They obviously ask this at the beginning of when there is a little season back on earth still to go before any avenging can commence. This little season in question is obviously meaning the 42...

When did the 2nd temple literally initially cease being the holy place?

In your case, I think he is simply debunking your interpretation based on his interpretation of those verses. Your interpretation contradicts his interpretation of verses 15-30. His interpretation of those verses doesn't have a gap of 2000 years between verse 15 and verse 30. Yours does. His...

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

Since the parable is using real world imagery, try comparing it with a real world example. Like such, maybe. A farmer has a field of wheat, but while the farmer and his farmhands slept, someone came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. Explain how that would mean the farmer ever...

When did the 2nd temple literally initially cease being the holy place?

You are not following me. I simply do not believe Luke 21:20 and Matthew 24:15 are involving the same events, same era of time. I used to believe that a long time ago but no longer do. My position regarding Matthew 24:15-26 has never changed. I have never taken that to be involving 70 AD ever...
