Reminds me of the culture of Fundamentalism and its taboos and cultural peculiarities...

Lots of volumes published and lots of TV - a commercial "success", maybe - are not necessarily indicative of a heartfelt yearning for Biblical doctrine.

Here's a good verse from Amos (3.3) : "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" I guess the style of this verse is similar to many verses in the book of Proverbs.

@Pearl Fact is, that some ppl are just perfectly comfortable with the idea getting inked up about something that is very important to them; for others, it's not part of their personal custom. (It's not necessarily anything to do with them having different beliefs or values.)
