Proof of genuine Christianity a believer needs to believe in = the five fundamentals

We both better hope no one goes back and reads some of our past posts. :(

Wow! Can I recommend reading The Shack? It is all about "relationship."

Turn churches into mosques: latest Catholic madness

In Catholicism, the church buildings are owned by the organization (as also is the case with a lot of Protestantism) so God or His people really don't seem to matter too much to them, anyway.

Proof of genuine Christianity a believer needs to believe in = the five fundamentals

It's just that I have read most of the posts here (including mine and yours) and I know better than to think any of us live up to those "tests". (Sometimes, SOME of them, perhaps, but not all of them, all the time)

Interesting. I have done very little fasting myself, but I am beginning to look a bit more carefully and thoroughly at what the Bible has to say about it.

    About Fasting

On another forum, several people trashed a certain book. So, of course, I immediately had to grab myself a copy. (Bless all the "Haters" who open so much of the word of God to me.... while trying their best to destroy it.) What do you think of these words in the book? Some have exalted...

Proof of genuine Christianity a believer needs to believe in = the five fundamentals

You want some more "rules" fun? Look up The SEVEN Fundamentals of Faith. (Use Google... I just did.) Then look up The Ten Fundamentals of Faith. (I did that, too) It's a riot! I imagine you could pick just about any number you want, and someone has made up a rule that THESE are the things a...

Proof of genuine Christianity a believer needs to believe in = the five fundamentals

Proof of genuine Christianity a believer needs to believe in = the five fundamentals

Any of us can believe those things, and a lot more. My questioning is "Why" those things are requirements some of us have put on others in order for them to "prove" they are Christians, when Jesus never asked the same things of us to become His child and be "saved."

Proof of genuine Christianity a believer needs to believe in = the five fundamentals

I'm pretty sure Jesus gave us guidelines that were a bit different.

God doesn't already know who is a "genuine" Christian?

    Neuropathy

Be sure to call and check first... it may not be a common thing they all have in stock. Mine just happened to have it.

    Neuropathy

Chiropractors have a foot bath that runs electric current from a "tens" unit through it.

Guns, Guns, Killing, and more Guns

Kinda glad you weren't covering my back, Al. (You think a VC is any less dead than a Florida thief?)

    Translating Bible Names

Too bad it can't be done without adding extra words and having to use English. Kind of catchy, though.
