That is an opinion. We actually have the words from God and the living word of God through the Spirit. So we have 2 reference points...enough to know the truth exactly. I think you should say...all I have is my opinion. but you could have a lot more than that if you didn't rely on an opinion.

This is of course gratuitous ...but then your understand of grace leads you to this. Gratuitous is related humanly to a flawed human understanding of grace. (they are related linguistically) God has a completely different kind of grace available...if you were at all interested.
