    Conjecture

    Such wisdom sister! :)
  2. Episkopos

    THE WISDOM OF GOD:

But people turn the words of Jesus upside down by stating that now they are born again they know very well where they are destined to go. Where is the honesty in todays' church? It can't be found.
  3. Episkopos

    Conjecture

To whom? To the one who lives in pride...or the the part of us that Jesus came to save? We tend to receive things as WE see them...from our present vantage point. So do you see that you are living through pride? To a proud person everyone appears proud. To a man in darkness all appears as dark...
  4. Episkopos

    Conjecture

Even the devil acknowledges that the bible is the written words from God. Or else he would not have used it in order to tempt Jesus. But that very fact you are somehow seeking to escape. You are trying to make your own points and opinions to be superior to any other consideration. I explained...
  5. Episkopos

    Conjecture

That's why the bible presents a crossroads. Which part of us is listening? God doesn't puff up the flesh...we have to take God's words for ourselves to do that. And of course there are many takers for this. But that isn't the whole story. Do you see that God also works with another part of...
  6. Episkopos

    Conjecture

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
  7. Episkopos

    Conjecture

How many people understand that the bible puts us at a crossroads...to become either a hypocrite or a saint? We can start out innocent before we come to the bible...unless of course we are they who indulge in sin wilfully. It seems most modern people...who don't believe in a full victory over...
  8. Episkopos

    Conjecture

For the very reason of me starting this thread...that many cannot perceive that the bible can be taken many different ways...by design...in order to trap men by revealing their true natures which brings them into a worse place by denial...(or after repentance of course into a better place by the...
  9. Episkopos

    Conjecture

Why not learn to be wise? Your own notions and opinions will just come back on you. To what purpose are you here on this thread? To add nonsense?
  10. Episkopos

    Conjecture

This is false. We who are of faith can continue to advance into the truth before judgment. We are not judged (yet). A believer can forsake pride and iniquity and continue to grow. As such our judgment would be more favourable. But they who are judged already are the wicked who resist the truth...
  11. Episkopos

    Conjecture

This is a good start. (Ok you're wrong about the bible giving life of course) But now you need to move beyond reading a book to an interactive walk with God by the Spirit. Look what the bible says... Deut. 5:24 And ye said, Behold, the Lord our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness...
  12. Episkopos

    Conjecture

That's not the issue. The bible points to a living relationship with God...not just with a book. This is where the dishonesty lies. The bible even says....the letter kills but the Spirit gives life. So the dishonesty continues.
  13. Episkopos

    Conjecture

You have misunderstood. The bible is not a religious book that is given to us to puff up the outer man. No one knows what will happen on judgment day. Judge nothing before the time. (that is in the bible BTW) :)
  14. Episkopos

    Conjecture

This fits in nicely into my other recent thread entitled "The Wonders of the Kingdom of God." :) How could Peter perceive how marvelous His light is without seeing it?
  15. Episkopos

    Conjecture

I never said that the bible is conjecture. That is more your way of using it! ;) An actual reading of what I wrote would reveal that conjecture is what we do regarding our own personal destiny in eternity. Making the bible to be the truth is to misunderstand the bible...to use it improperly. By...
  16. Episkopos

    Conjecture

Speculation (and conjecture) in our time has not just replaced faith, but also humility and the fear of the Lord. We don't have to have an opinion on everything after all. We will be judged by our words....how glibly we spoke about things we don't understand. How we took the Lord's name in vain...
  17. Episkopos

    Conjecture

It is the opinion of others about a testimony of the person with a real encounter from God. How did Moses know he was encountering God in the burning bush experience? How did Stephen know he wasn't hallucinating when he was allowed to see into the 3rd heaven? Speculation about an encounter...
  18. Episkopos

    Conjecture

Jesus bids us seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Now they who have entered (been translated) into the kingdom of God know this as a "prepared in advance" walk in the spiritual realm in Zion. A place of victory over sin, the devil, and the world. This will appear as speculative...
  19. Episkopos

    Conjecture

That is until we encounter the living God. His presence eliminates all conjectures. The NT is based on this visitation and inspection (episkopay) ....and empowerment (grace) ...from God. All else is opinion and speculation.
  20. Episkopos

    Conjecture

Only in an upside down conjectural world....is what I'm saying pure conjecture. But that is because you are unable to reason due to a religious indoctrination that replaces any kind of spiritual reasoning. A human interpretation takes away the possibility of an actual understanding of God. That...
