    Clock off.

Sounds like you found the words of God, and not just the assumptions of men.

Luke 14:15-24 Rapture Before Great Tribulation

As I said, even though you quoted it, you still didn't even see what John said. That's OK, few people do.

    Clock off.

Actually reading the Bible, "truly" reading it, changed a world of things for me. I would love to hear about what you experienced.

Luke 14:15-24 Rapture Before Great Tribulation

As far as "dating" the times of tribulation, I love how no one ever seems to give any credence to Rev. 1:9.

Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth

One of the wisest statements I ever read was this: "The Christian exegete must allow the New Testament to interpret the Old Testament." (It really seems to mean little.... UNTIL you sit and think about it for a few minutes.)

    Does "LAW" matter?

101G, It is an astute observation to understand that. (And "Grace" was the response to both.)

California gets goahead to seek secession

I have said it a hundred times... Our Congress is no more moral than Rome's Senate was. And they are bound to destroy the United States just like Rome's society was destroyed. "Those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it."

    Does "LAW" matter?

Thank you. This is all I ever asked. I like to have some idea of how people I speak with think.
  9. Willie T

    Does "LAW" matter?

So, we are left with nowhere to go to find out anything except to our own esoteric conclusions?
  10. Willie T

    Does "LAW" matter?

Do you mean we are now free to evaluate each of God's laws by circumstances as we see them?
  11. Willie T

    Does "LAW" matter?

You don't think it is "profitable" to know whether or not someone believes that the words God gave us to live by are the truth?
  12. Willie T

    Does "LAW" matter?

True? OK. Which of God's laws can your recite, and then honestly state: "That is not true."... or "That is true."? Most posters here seem to want to solve all the intricacies of the Bible in one single three-page post. I don't think that is very effective. Trying to sound "Theological" to...

    Does "LAW" matter?

Quite to the contrary. This is why I asked readers to read EVERY one of the 6 words of that very simple question. Of the laws you know about, (and that enables you to go to any and/or all laws God or Jesus gave) are ANY of them true in your opinion? I asked nothing else... nothing more. Can...

    Does "LAW" matter?

As often seems to be the case with all Christian Forums, one simple question has been hidden by a building smoke screen of superfluous clutter. So, I will try again. Are any of the "laws" true? (I could ask a dozen more questions pertaining to that one simple query, but I won't because I am...

    Clock off.

I've heard (and seen) that is pretty standard for that group on the forums. However the people on the Chat Room of that site seem halfway decent.

    Clock off.

Not the most accepting place to visit. I was told I wasn't a Christian on my second post.
  17. Willie T

    Clock off.

You do know, don't you, that even today when it takes anyone only a few seconds to write something and broadcast it worldwide, that histories of even famous people aren't often written by eyewitnesses... 37 minutes after they die. Aren't you clutching at rather meaningless straws here?
  18. Willie T

    Clock off.

I guess we'll just disagree with that. And, I was not speaking of "skills", but of temperament and aptitude.

    Remember Bonanza?

Actually, both Adam and Hoss were just 13 years younger than Ben. Joe was 17 years younger than Pa.
