    Does "LAW" matter?

Even with respect to the future millennial era, there is never any detailed discussion of ethical cause and effect in our forum discussions. There is no detailed discussion of how Jesus Christ will rule on earth through His people. Will there still be politics? Will government be entirely...

    Does "LAW" matter?

I'm actually talking about the fact that we cannot deny every single one of them were given to Israel. (With the exception of the ones added to keep from violating existing ones) But, I am quite interested in the criteria used to claim to be justified follow some, and ignore others. Is the...

    Does "LAW" matter?

See, where you might have looked at a day's living as, "Did I break any laws?", I never did. I was falsely taught that there were no laws to break since Jesus' sacrifice covered the penalty for all of them. The older man that I am now sees things differently. I ask, today, "Is there anything...

live in shame or die honorably?

I think it involves Pride situations. If you will notice, most of the more negative aspects of societal interaction and organizations in America have the word (or at least, the 'concept') of "Pride" associated with them.

    Does "LAW" matter?

Well, some people don't appreciate it. :) But, I am not trying to say anything, one way or another. I am just saying that there are so many laws that we honestly know we SHOULD be living by in our daily lives, that instead, we just totally dismiss (despite Jesus often saying to obey His...

    Does "LAW" matter?

"Love is the answer."? One man says: "I love you, so I will not confront you since you feel you're in God's will." Another says: "I love you, so I will stand with the Westboro mob, and hold a sign in protest at your son's military funeral." Is there a chance many of us may not have too good...

    Does "LAW" matter?

You usually read more carefully than that. I explained, right after saying that remark, that "even right inside in our own churches, there are multiple interpretations of what THAT verse means." And those interpretations often come straight from the pulpit.

    Does "LAW" matter?

Are you saying, then, that the other "laws" (pick any divine commandment) don't apply to us because Jesus fulfilled them all? For instance, just to name two of hundreds, does it matter if we use dishonest scales in commerce? (Shave just a few cents on each sale?) Or are we allowed (by God) to...

    Does "LAW" matter?

Orthodoxy says "The Law" (however you consider it) does not apply today, at all. How do you see it? Why are any commands even mentioned in the New Testament?

    Heaven

Probably "both" to a certain extent, but I think it is mainly a state of mind.... as far as we can understand what that might mean.

    Ever Consider This?

Not being a Calvinist, I really don't consider us born "completely depraved." Born with a leaning toward selfish pride, "Yes", but not totally depraved. If we were, we would feel no conscience, and would not have recognized God when He called.

    Dispensationalism is it Scriptural?

Ok. I guess that would mean, "Yes", I am also a recipient of a 'negative' reaction to anticipating more Christians being saved than not.

    Dispensationalism is it Scriptural?

Am I black-balled too, because I see it as about a 5 to 1 ratio, Christians to Unbelievers?

    Dispensationalism is it Scriptural?

Go back to the post I made, and open up the "QUOTED" section at the top. The word I asked about is in RED.

    Dispensationalism is it Scriptural?

What translation is that? I have never seen that particular word used before.

Great Harm to USA!! =What the Democrats are doing right now is a TRAVESTY.

I think we all know that politicians on both sides are more concerned about keeping their Cush jobs than they ever were about the condition of the USA. They would be happy to be Chinese or Russian if they could still be rich and not have to work.

    Dispensationalism is it Scriptural?

Huh? The gospel changes with "Dispensations?"

    Once again question on Blogs

I much more appreciate one well thought-out and well-written paragraph than I do three or four pages of run-on mental effluence. But, I love to read 300-400 page books all the time... maybe 15-20 a year.

    Once again question on Blogs

I ignore most of them because it seems "blogs" are for wannabe authors who are not good enough to get published. They just like to write, and write, and write, and write... and write... and write..... but often never say much of anything.
