    A Most Neglected Letter

...and a most neglected warning.... And no letter is more put aside than the one to Laodicea (which means "the people's opinions"). We are in that time period of the church...right now. But who is taking the Lord's warning to heart? Has anyone noticed how many opinions there are...or how anyone...

    All cultures accepted...except the Southern.

Is it really racism to want to stop racism?

    Is Jesus the only Way?

And that verse says that it is the work of God to cause us to believe INTO Jesus. Nobody can do that but Him. God must place us into Jesus. No one can go up to heaven unless God causes him/her to. God is the only One who can translate us into the kingdom.

    Has Anybody Seen Ralph?

I thought he might be the one on the other end causing the stampede. That poor guy in the front looks like he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He does have a passing resemblance to Ralph....although I've never seen him in such a terrified state. :)

    Has Anybody Seen Ralph?

I thought I recognized him at the far end of the beach...;) But alas wrong hair colour and he's much taller. He could be on a safari... just an idea?

Who is Nehushtan? Why isn't Christ Nehushtan? Why hasn't your pastor ever so much as mentioned...

It would seem subtle I suppose but Jesus took the judgment of SINNERS upon Himself...not just sins. We can look at Jesus as wanting to take on sins...in a sort of ceremonial way...or else having to put up with the sins of men directed at Him. Putting up with real hatred from people. So I...

Who is Nehushtan? Why isn't Christ Nehushtan? Why hasn't your pastor ever so much as mentioned...

The coming of Jesus Christ into the world upped the ante....it raised the stakes. Your last statement is not quite how I would put it... Jesus took on the judgment of the people to reunite all men to the Father...but not the ones who judged Him...unless they repent of course. There is a greater...

    Galatians 5

I have sinned...yes. All have sinned. But the gospel is the liberation from sin...and a reconciliation with a holy God. But you are speaking of a worldview that doesn't include Christ. You only see Him as your own holy Victim for your sins. But the good news is that He is RISEN! And He gives...

    Knowing Jesus

Perhaps it could be like...."always learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth???"

    The Sheep and Goat Judgment:

Paul is speaking here of the house of God. US! We must all go before the tribunal with Christ presiding. The judgment seat is the BEMA judgment. It is like a military tribunal like a court marshal. It is for His house... This takes place before the Millenium rule of those who pass muster in...

    Galatians 5

That's unfortunate. You are making 2 options...either we are to be Jews under the Mosaic law....or walking in the Spirit. 1. Nobody advocates being under the law of Moses...nobody is trying to be a Jew. 2. You vastly underestimate what walking in the Spirit really is. Nobody walks in the...

Supernatural Christian Fiction novel advice needed

If something is to be Christian it can't come from us...it must be by inspiration from the Holy Spirit...otherwise it is just you mixing in some superstition or religious inflection into a man-inspired story. Ask God about it.

Who is Nehushtan? Why isn't Christ Nehushtan? Why hasn't your pastor ever so much as mentioned...

2 Kings 16:4 He (Ahaz) removed the high places and broke down the sacred pillars and cut down the Asherah. He also broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made, for until those days the sons of Israel burned incense to it; and it was called Nehushtan. People tend to make idols of...

Is Dispensationalism a valid way to interpret scripture?

They think they are following Paul...as if he had a gospel for Gentiles that was different from that of Jesus or even Peter. They can't fathom the oneness in Christ...because they don't know the power of the gospel.

Is Dispensationalism a valid way to interpret scripture?

Not reject just ignore as being relevant to us. They also reject the gospels and the words of Jesus. :(

    Knowing Jesus

A good point. There is so much available to us from the storehouse of God. We can go to the throne of grace to receive the grace we need in time of need. If we lack something we can seek the Lord for it. He is approachable...although it takes that rare kind of faith...a faith that moves God to...

    Integrity of Heart

You are speaking top down to me...as if you have a superior understanding. So then my correction of this attitude from you makes it appear to you that I am doing as you do. I know you are speaking from yourself. I don't think many would be fooled by your posturing. But you need to realize this...

    Integrity of Heart

I see you can't discern the difference between a human reasoning and a real understanding that is informed by experience with God. Your distrust of any kind of reasoning (whether carnal or spiritual) shows up in your lack of any real content in your posts...but rather a smooth talking biblical...

    Integrity of Heart

Actually I'm trying to get you away from human reasoning...from a man called Calvin...and onto Christ. :) You must be able also to discern Christ in others...discerning His Body...or else you can be fooled into thinking you're somewhere you are not. It's like having only one point of reference...
