Hmmmm......so we can never figure out the truth? The Bereans compared Scripture (what we call the OT now) to what they were being told (oral tradition) about Jesus and came to the right conclusion (that Jesus was in fact the savior spoken of in OT Scripture). Sooooo you rely on oral tradition...
