  1. Eternally Grateful

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. Jesus will baptize everyone, which one is for each individual to decide. what occurs with...

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

It has not been written yet It has not been confirmed yet and it has not been broken yet but if Jesus just died, you would not know if God accepted his sacrifice. the fact he rose from the dead CONFIRMS God accepted his sacrifice in full Your right, there is only one, which will be confirmed...
  3. Eternally Grateful

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

I see all prophecy as a tool used by God to tell us years in advance of things that will occur. Anmd when those things happen. the people alive them can be drawn to God because he said they would happen. They did, and that points to this one God who can tell of future events years in advance...
  4. Eternally Grateful

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

Romans 6, 1 cor 12, gal 5, col 2 John said Jesus will baptize with the HS or with fire. I do not wish to be baptized in fire.. No one should desire to be immersed into the fire that will never be quenched (hellfire) but everyone will be baptized by God. we need to chose which one
  5. Eternally Grateful

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

Actually read what this says He is speaking to individuals here. Every one of YOU.. Different that the first command, where he told all of them to repent. Also. the gift of the spirit points back to repenting, Not baptism. And baptism is not in order to recieve remission of sin, That was...
  6. Eternally Grateful

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

@Ritajanice Is this good wording? Is this not condiscending? Is this helping in the conversation? Or is this a strawman attack because @Spyder is unable to repond to what is being said to him properly? before you start yelling at people. you need to start looking at everyone..
  7. Eternally Grateful

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

Wake up? I am done with you. I am sick of your childish behavior every time someone tries to help you. How do you take what I said to be bad wording. I just stated a fact. and gave a definition. If giving a defenition of a word is being childish or bad terminology, how are we supposed to...
  8. Eternally Grateful

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

Then continue in having absolutely no idea what the baptism of the spirit is. No sweat of my back But I am warning you now to stop with your Bull.. I am sick of your accusations..

  10. Eternally Grateful

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

Will wait for you to prove me wro0ng Which covenant, the one in Daniel 9, or the one on the cross? the one on the cross was confirmed when he rose from the dead.. The one in daniel 9 has not even been made yet, let alone confirmed.
  11. Eternally Grateful

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

No it does not. It says one week. It has not ended yet, because it has not yet even begun, Thank you. You just proved my point John 3 again proves you in error God told us to hate our parent, Yet he tells us to love them God did not hate a baby, He loved the nation which came from Esau.
  12. Eternally Grateful

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

The temple has a holy place. and a most holy place. any rebuilt temple would have these two places inside that temple. The fact that it is not doing anything of value has no bearing on prophecy. Prophecy just states what is going on. not if it is required or not. Israel is in sin, They are...
  13. Eternally Grateful

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

This is not about the new covenant, Have you read daniel 9 : 1- 19? I can't believe you have, because you would not keep misunderstanding what and who the 70 weeks are about I am not worried about what it will do. I am worried about the fact God said it will be, and that it will be used, and...
  14. Eternally Grateful

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

That covenant is not the same covenant. But keep talking., You keep increasing my faith that I am right, and decrease any possibility of me coming to your view..
  15. Eternally Grateful

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

  16. Eternally Grateful

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

lol 1. He confirmed a covenant for 1 week. In the middle of the week, he caused sacrifice and burnt offering to cease. No you want me to believe in the cross he confirmed a covenant, and then at the same time 3.5 years later, his same death caused sacrifice and burnt offering to cease? Come...
  17. Eternally Grateful

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

Really That was not Jesus. Jesus never confirmed a covenant for 1 week. He fulfilled a covenant he was sent to confirm. An eternal covenant lol Jesus was sent to the world. so whoever in the world believes will be saved. Jesus fulfilled the abrahamic covenant - In You (literally your seed)...
  18. Eternally Grateful

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

Wrong 'Messiah was cut off. He is out of the picture as far as prophetic events in this period goes.
  19. Eternally Grateful

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

Christ did not confirm any covenant with anyone, He fulfilled the abrahamic covenant, and the mosaic covenant concerning the salvation to the whole world. and eternal covenant which could not be broken. Nor did he break his covenant half way through the 7 year period..
  20. Eternally Grateful

Why are some interpreters not being honest with the text involving Daniel 9:27?

I think we should just read the passage in succession of events that will take place. The first person mentioned in Messiah the prince, who will appear at the end of the 69th week He is the same person that will get cut off after this event. the next event is the people who destroy the city...
