    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

Your basic problem is dismissing logic. The person making the positive claim has the burden of proof. Consider the logic of the hypothesis. H0. X is true. Ha. X is not true. IF the null hypothesis, H0, cannot be demonstrated to be true, THEN, H0 is rejected and the alternative hypothesis, Ha...

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

So, simple ... Such a pivot from what was said. No acknowledgment that what @Aunty Jane wrote is true. You just go right to Ad Homenim, some sort of psycho babble about anyone dictating to anyone AS IF that has anything to do with her fact based observation. Typical.

Why do so many bury their Talent?

Ahem. Didn't Christ say the love of money is the root of all evil? Money is a great invention that allows infinite more efficiency that the alternative, bartering. Like the rock that Cain used to kill Able, it is not the thing that is evil but how we use it. Money, along with sex and power are...

Are the ANOINTED only among the Jehovah's Witnesses?

biblical love 1 Corinthians 13:2-7 2 What if I have the gift of prophecy, am blessed with knowledge and insight to all the mysteries, or what if my faith is strong enough to scoop a mountain from its bedrock, yet I live without love? If so, I am nothing. 3 I could give all that I have to feed...

    How Feminism Failed Women

Every time you make an "all" comment. I'll repost #22.

    How Feminism Failed Women

This is ground we already covered numerous times. Stop doing laps on this point. Feminism is evil. It's the idea that is hurting women, not people.

    How Feminism Failed Women

I'm not being mean at all. I'm asking you a question that I hope puts your point in proper perspective. Now I answered your question. How about you answer mine?

    How Feminism Failed Women

After weeks, this is the rejoinder you come up with? Yea, let's change the subject. When do the left come up with this wisdom regarding White Supremacists?

Interesting that the Bible is "the Word of God", unless someone quotes a translation you disagree with.

Took you a week to come up with that rejoinder, eh? FYI, I expressed a conditional statement, not involving any assumptions.

Are the ANOINTED only among the Jehovah's Witnesses?

I reject your implication that the everlasting fire awaits all members of any denomination. My question was, "Do you love him?" We got our answer. I'd worry less about Keiw and your own entry into the everlasting fire.

Are the ANOINTED only among the Jehovah's Witnesses?

Treating your opinion as fact is not the humility of Christ. I love @Keiw no matter what denomination he belongs to. Do you? I love @Keiw no matter what his doctrines are. Do you?

Are the ANOINTED only among the Jehovah's Witnesses?

Correct me if I am wrong but isn’t that your opinion?

I confess the phrase applies in my mind to non-believers. Among believers, we scour the word for separating the translation gulf.

No. That’s just one reason. If you think all translations are equal, well, bless your heart.

Interesting that the Bible is "the Word of God", unless someone quotes a translation you disagree with.

That’s not the point; the point is the KJV is the worst translation available in English today.

Interesting that the Bible is "the Word of God", unless someone quotes a translation you disagree with.

Referring to the Bible as the word of God is an appeal to authority. It is reasonable to scrutinize what the Creator said - properly translated - rather than run with a bad translation. Worse, is people claiming things are in the Bible that aren't. For instance, the KJV references dragons...

"Christians don't know what they believe." - until they are brainwashed

This is a very provocative point. OTOH, I agree but OTOH, I disagree. Obviously, the church is not a place of formal scholarship and learning. But many if not most people in Western Civilization throughout history since the invention of the printing press learned by reading the Bible and...

"Christians don't know what they believe." - until they are brainwashed

Carriage return spaces between paragraphs are your friend Ronald! ;) Astute observation. I agree. Agreed. He comes across to me as an angry legalist. That does surprise me in some ways. Most times, people who conduct the polls have an agenda. This explains the convoluted wording. LOL If...
