Did Jesus tell the Pharisees that they were gods? - John 10:34

Well said. Even if it were, a duo does not a trinity make. Verse 22 talks about us being one also. By trinitarian logic, that would make us God also, wouldn't it - or at the very least, a multi-person Being?

Respecting Authority (many don't like this) - Even in times of Terrible Kings

Well, that's a good point. Tyranny of the mind, tyranny in all its forms. But regarding the tyranny of state power, MLK Jr said it well. A just government ought to be obeyed and an unjust government ought to not be obeyed. In my research, the first statement ever uttered about the limits of...

Respecting Authority (many don't like this) - Even in times of Terrible Kings

It means that if you look beyond Roman’s 13, you will find support in Scripture for opposing tyranny.

Respecting Authority (many don't like this) - Even in times of Terrible Kings

America is founded on rebelling against tyranny. Their Scriptural justifications ought to be appraised.

    How Feminism Failed Women

Sure. The point I made was not about exceptions but God’s plan for us. Used to be, a woman could get divorced but she had to abandon her property and her children. I know men who would rather abandon their children than deal with the toxic feminists. May be easy to say ‘bad dad’ but it begs...

Did Jesus tell the Pharisees that they were gods? - John 10:34

You know, I was thinking of starting a separate thread about the angels capacity to rebel. To answer your question, I say no; the Divine Council consists now of no fallen angels.

Did Jesus tell the Pharisees that they were gods? - John 10:34

Yea. The capitalization adds to confusion but stands for sense 1, the Supreme Being, of which there is only one supreme; lowercase represents other senses, which is not limited in number.

Did Jesus tell the Pharisees that they were gods? - John 10:34

I already explained how this makes them a god. It goes back to agency. Imagine yourself a king from 5,000 years ago. A company of ambassadors come from a far away land. The agent speaks for the principle. Regarding the topic of trade, the principle has authorized his representative to speak on...

Did Jesus tell the Pharisees that they were gods? - John 10:34

No. It has nothing to do with the superstitions. By definition, prophets speak the word of God yes?

Did Jesus tell the Pharisees that they were gods? - John 10:34

Only because you’ve been indoctrinated with trinitarian-double-speak. Here is how a prophet is a god. A bunch of yahoos are debating scripture meaning. St SteVen joins the fracas and announces ‘YHWH told me last night you’d be having this debate and to tell all of you this …’ Who do you...

Did Jesus tell the Pharisees that they were gods? - John 10:34

The word ‘god’ has more than one sense. In this sense, it is one in authority. A trinitarian deception is to suppose there is only one god and lord. There are dozens in Scripture and 1,000’s or even millions of REAL lowercase gods in this sense.

    The Next Evolution Of Christianity

That is not a fact. It was true before the Industrial Revolution. Facts show that a man motivated by profit is more productive than a man who has no profit motive. What is ‘over time pay?’ It is 50% more profit per hour paid to the productive worker who works above the standard work day or...

Where in the Bible are we told to pray to the Holy Spirit?

A truism besides the point. Nowhere are we told in Scripture to pray to the HS.

Strawman. What I wrote has nothing to do with your reply.

    The Next Evolution Of Christianity

Wrong. You insist that the advent of the industrial revolution was just a coincidence with the end of slavery and the real driver was a developing conscience among Christian’s after 19 centuries. Facts just don’t matter to some people.

Where in the Bible are we told to pray to the Holy Spirit?

You are confusing a description with a personal name. Many trinitarians abuse capitalization to try to make common nouns, like son and truth, proper nouns. My stepdaughter argued with her 2nd grade teacher as mother's day approached that it should be capitalized. The word mother is another...

    How Feminism Failed Women

Great point! The mantra of "women can do it all" appeals to the ego when God calls us to be humble. The question is not who "can" do what but what does God call us to do? I believe biology, science has the answer. It takes a man and a woman to make a baby. Therefore, it is God's ideal plan that...

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

Doesn't really answer the question of what would be a better anaolgy. Not answering questions. Typical. Changing the subject from those who reject Christ to the redeemed. Typical.

    The Next Evolution Of Christianity

What a supremely arrogant thing to say. Cite one verse that states foreign forced labor slaves were to ever be freed? Obviously, you are projecting misunderstand what the bible and history teaches. After 19 centuries, Christians finally got a conscious about slavery and it had nothing to do...
