John 1:1 - Jesus is the Father or he's not the one true God?

Appeal to Majority. Explicit purpose of John’s Gospel is to prove Jesus is the son of God - not God incarnate. All the Gospels testify explicitly that Jesus is Gods Anointed, not God incarnate.

    Unitarianism vs Trinitarianism

Just ignore Rom 10:9 and what it means.

    Unitarianism vs Trinitarianism

You are setting up a straw man argument. The fact is the Apostolic writing, compiled later as the word of God simply does not have the trinity in it, no verse that reads something like The nature of God is a trinity - consisting of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit who are co-equal, co-substantial...

    Unitarianism vs Trinitarianism

No. Unitarians do not say this. Scripture explicitly says this.

    Unitarianism vs Trinitarianism

Even though you say you believe God raised Jesus from the dead, you don't recognize how that makes Jesus not the God who raised him from the dead. The subject of the sentence is God doing the action. Jesus is the object of the sentence, being acted upon. The subject of a sentence is not the...

What benefit does it produce to make Jesus God

LOL. If that were true, you would have posted it. Again, to avoid the inevitable Appeal to Strawman, there simply is no verse that reads something like The nature of God is a trinity - consisting of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit who are co-equal, co-substantial and co-eternal - and if you do not...

    A Form of godliness

LOL It sure sounds like it.

    Christendom's Teachings verses the Bible

Again, change of reference. We were not talking about love but being patriotic in defeating the enemies of the State, not giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Another change of reference. You are deliberately denying the context of the verses are personal. Regarding giving aid and comfort to...

    Christendom's Teachings verses the Bible

LOL. Keep changing the reference (broader sense) if that makes you feel better. Again, it doesn't change the point of the verse cited being personal and not political.

John 1:1 - Jesus is the Father or he's not the one true God?

GEN, this is NOT what John says his purpose is. Sad that your idolatry supersedes the explicit word of God. But these miracles have been written so that you will believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of God, and so that you will have life by believing in him. John 20:31 NOG

What benefit does it produce to make Jesus God

Not 'somehow' not God. Scripture repeatedly says Jesus was sent by God, a servant of God, told what and how to say by God, submitted to the will of God and given a revelation by God, on top of being the son of God. Beyond that, Jesus died. This is how you know without any reasonable doubt that...

    Christendom's Teachings verses the Bible

Well, that's not really an answer to my question. The verse you cited is personal, not political. Changing reference to another verse does not that. Regarding 'being "no part of the world" is definitely political' ignores Christ command to 'give unto Caesar what is Caesar's' and obeying civil...

    Christendom's Teachings verses the Bible

Notice how the Scriptural verse is personal, not political? Politically, Christendom's churches have always supported their nation's governments makes sense from a Scriptural and patriotic perspective.

    A Form of godliness

In other thread, a poster said I was arrogant but this sentiment takes the cake. Nice Appeal to Ad Homenim. If you don't see it my way, you don't have God's Spirit! Wow.

John 1:1 - Jesus is the Father or he's not the one true God?

Not at all my friends. I just read chapter 1 from the perspective of his stated purpose of his gospel, which is to prove something ELSE other than what you are using it for. The mystical dualists like you, don't think there is anything wrong with re-purposing John's words.

What benefit does it produce to make Jesus God

You reject the trinity too, right? So, we all got that going for us. ;)

John 1:1 - Jesus is the Father or he's not the one true God?

LOL. ‘There is only one God, the Father’. This is deconstruction for you? Still not able to produce anything like ‘Jesus is God’, huh?
