    Gnosticism

The simple questions reveal people's agenda. No sir. Although I cannot say the exact opposite is true, I grew up in a Catholic community. No one that I knew growing up actually read the Bible. It was considered a mountain too big to climb. You used the term 'main focus' whereas I used the...

    John 8:24, 28, 58 - Jesus Christ IS YHWH

So says the mystic. Fortunately, God chose not to keep who he is a mystery. Romans 15:6 Contemporary English Version 6 Then all of you together will praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    John 8:24, 28, 58 - Jesus Christ IS YHWH

What verse says that again? And who raised Jesus from the dead in the verse in question?

    Follow The Science

I say to people like @2ndRateMind that I do not have enough faith to be an atheist. His idol of science must cause him cognitive dissonance when confronted with such a recent and public shaming of its obvious weakness, succumbing to the whims of the people, which makes it look an awful lot like...

    'God working' question

Without appearing to answer via circular reasoning, the chosen people are the people God choses to extend his grace to for our salvation is not by the earned justice of our merit.

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

Jesus said he has a God - who we relate to as father - who is the only true God. What does this ‘point to?’

    John 8:24, 28, 58 - Jesus Christ IS YHWH

Wait. Who raised Jesus from the dead?

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

I make the strongest possible argument; there is no explicit Scripture teaching the trinity but there is explicit Scripture teaching that only the Father is God. If my argument is weak, what does that make your argument? ... Drops Mic ... ;)

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

Ad Hominem. You just lost the argument. Unfounded accusation. This is not about me. So says mystics. On the topic at hand, trinitarians put all their eggs in this vague 'pointing' while downplaying explicit Scripture. Like an anti-gun abortionist, upset about RvW being overturned while seeing...

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

There is your Oneness doctrine again! As children of God, we all share in the inheritance of God. It does not make us God, YHWH, who we relate to as the Father. Jesus is not the father and was never identified as YHWH, as God. This is primarily because Jesus is not God.

What does Colossians 1:16 mean when it says "For by him were all things created..."

Thank you. They often retreat to what they think is safe intellect grounds, like going to the native language. But I enjoy there is no safety with an inherently contradictory concept. In a recent analysis of John 1, a fine upstanding, card carrying member of trinity land did all he could to...

What does Colossians 1:16 mean when it says "For by him were all things created..."

Let's take a look @ v7-8 (NLT): Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, 8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Notice how v7 does...

    Looking for Job

We all have internet connection and can research as we please. The point is about being an effective communicator. A bad OP makes a statement, like ‘in the beginning god said …’ A good OP makes a thesis to discuss or a question to answer. An example is why are the books of the Bible arranged...

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

Wow! All in all means pantheonism. Let's take a closer look at Christianities end game, where Christ is still distinguisable from God. 1 Corinthians 15:23-28 NLT But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be...

What does Colossians 1:16 mean when it says "For by him were all things created..."

Even if they pull out a bad translation it still does not help them. If Jesus emptied himself, it means he became a container. And most people know the container and the contents are not one in essence.

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

Despite the Bible saying over and over and over again that there is only one God, YWHW, the Oneness doctrine persists to subordinate the actual Word of YHWH.

    Follow The Science

I started a thread about what I heard Sunday on Moody Radio. That subject was regarding knowledge. Another profound point the host made was the rock of our faith being such a firm foundation. By contrast, many deluded in our secular world embrace the adage that they 'follow the science.' Yet...

    'God working' question

I think the Age of Reconcilliation continues until the end. Lots of work to bring his chosen people to him, to ready their soul for the plans he has for them. Jer 29:11.

But not before Creation was. This is why Jesus is said to be the firstborn of Creation. Firstborn implies a series of like to follow.

Who is Jesus to a Non-Trinitarian?

Preposterous! God identifies himself to Moses, whose name is not I am or Jesus but YHWH. Ex 3:15. The idea that "I am" is a divine identifier is just absurdity on top of absurdity. Lot's of people say I am. Does that make them God?
