Nowhere is this in Scripture. On the contrary, Jesus said he has a God who is the only true God. Given that Jesus did not teach the trinity, why do you?

Re-read the OP. He explained it well. My 1st post (Post #10) in this thread explained fairly well also. I know Jesus is mortal. It is a historical fact that he died. This is how we know he is not God, who is immortal. See the difference?

Agreed. The other day I was lead to read where God told Moses the 2 miracles he taught him would convince Pharaoh that Moses was sent by God. But the very next verse God says, in case that does not work, pour water out to make blood out of the rivers. Ex 4.
