Who/What is Jesus if not God?

I don't know why you are even posting in this thread, other than to derail it. The OP is asking for an apology not for trinitarianism but for rejecting the man-is-God thesis.

Who/What is Jesus if not God?

Pot meet kettle. Scripture called Jesus the converse, the Son of God. It is you who are blatantly contradicting Scripture! Converses are not equivalent expressions. Who/What is Jesus if not God?

According to trinitarianism, God is an insufficient authority on his own words. Sad. A few weeks ago I asked an obstinate trinitarian who spoke those words? They answered, "the Father." Just today, another agreed that only the Father is God - but the Father is the Son. You can't make this stuff up.

Who/What is Jesus if not God?

Words are WHAT's not WHO's. All prophets speak the word of God, including Jesus.

Who/What is Jesus if not God?

There is no such thing as human logic. There is only logic.

Who/What is Jesus if not God?

Mark 1:1 explicitly says Jesus is the Son of God - as Jesus himself admits in Mark 14:61-62 and other places, which is why he was killed. That's good enough for me. This may be the heart of the fallacy of trinitarianism. God certainly could NOT do what Jesus did, die. Death is the penalty of...

The Insanity of the "right" to have guns!

Great post! It shows the anti-gunners approach to crime does not work. The blame game does not save lives. Always remember, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

Should Churches have to Prove their Faith Statement with Scripture?

You don't know because you're too theoretical. There is no doctrinal purity test for salvation. It's about action not a list of beliefs that can be "proven." See Matthew 7:21.

Should members need to disclose their denomination?

Oh. These posts confused me in practice, not theory.

Should members need to disclose their denomination?

There's not too much love in that post. God wants none to perish. So, who are you to determine what questions fit? What agenda do you have to exclude some where God wants none to perish?

The Insanity of the "right" to have guns!

That's wonderful for ya'll. We drive on the right side of the street. To each, his own.

Should members need to disclose their denomination?

As my mother tells the story, it's what she saw draped over the chair at the moment of my conception. ;) For those of you who take me far too seriously and do not embrace figurative use of language. We are both joking. :D

Should members need to disclose their denomination?

Knowledge does not advance by stifling questions. Rather, it is intense scrutiny that is the cause of truth to be discovered in that it cannot be refuted. Consider gravity. Not too many successful onslaughts. Yet, there was a successful onslaught to gravity. However, it is not gravity, per se...

Believing in yourself means having the courage to stand on your own two feet

I'm sorry animal, I did not catch this post until now. You seem to be a victim of violating the law of identity, lost in an incomprehensible collective of oneness. Notice the Freudian slip of the change from definite to indefinite article from one sentence to the next. Also notice the false...

Should members need to disclose their denomination?

I never understood that. That is beyond using pen names. I suspect your mother did not name you "Hidden In Him." :D

My Life Was Just a Loaf of Bread

This reminds me of an episode of All in the Family I want to apply to you. Meathead: Everything you say is incomprehensible. Archie: That might be true but it makes a lot of sense. ;)

Should Churches have to Prove their Faith Statement with Scripture?

To whom do you suggest they prove their Statements of Faith? God does not offer proof but faith as the pathway to salvation. Take a relatively minor doctrinal issue, OSAS. IMO, there are verses in support and contradict. As @Taken has said today in several posts, one's belief does not affect...

Should members need to disclose their denomination?

I heard there are over 35,000 Christian denominations. Obviously, it is not practical to learn about them all before choosing one. Most people prefer not to travel too far. So my guess is proximity is a major factor in choosing a denomination, after family heritage. I was raised Roman Catholic...

I watched this some years ago. It is very moving and a testament to the power of God's grace.
