This is not the point of the parable. The point is about lack of forgiveness. If you fail to forgive, for that reason, will you suffer. The parable says nothing about the man who owed much but his debt was forgiven, THEN had his debt re-instated.

I agree with @stunnedbygrace. The man who was deeply in debt was forgiven his debt THEN put in prison. This tells us he was imprisoned for a reason other than his debt; namely, his refusal to forgive. This aligns with other Scriptures perfectly.

Really? Pick One: A. Men are included as Wife & Bride of Christ & Homosexuality is allowed. B. Homosexuality is prohibited as well as men making up the Wife & Bride of Christ. As Scripture currently reads, homosexuality is condemned, unless it is the Wife and Bride of Christ.

The point of this thread is why does the Bible call men to be the Bride and Wife of Christ WHILE also condemning homosexuality. Then, this apparent contradiction becomes an understandable wedge issue for why people don’t believe, don’t come to Christ.

I had a similar experience, only the guy was wearing shorts on a very hot day. The priest argued loudly with him, then threw him out. Cleanliness before godliness, I suppose. If I were either of these guys, I would not go to either church denomination again.
