    Crusades Began with Reconquista

You’re no longer a Chinese Christian, living in Communist China. It’s August, 1775. The Caesar of the day is accusing someone in his realm of acting treacherously. You’re there. You’re a British citizen residing in the North American colonies of Great Britain. Is King George III and his...

    The Quranic Dilemma

The Muslim answer is no, we can not trust the Bible; it has been corrupted. From my X / Twitter “For you” feed this morning - “The Bible is unmatched in its reliabity and veracity” (Josh Barzon) https://x.com/joshuabarzon/status/2069045182486487547?s=46&t=T64e94h2unfHH-VO4i01zA

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

How well do you know early church history? The Caesar in Paul’s day was Nero. You would kill for Nero. You would kill Christians, Jews and pagans for Nero. Paul and the followers of Jesus wouldn’t and didn’t. What is Caesar’s? Give it to him. P.S. Paul did. The early Christians did. I do...

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

That’s a good start, but it didn’t take you long to go wrong. Jesus didn’t kill anyone. The apostles didn’t kill anyone. They loved their enemies; they didn't wound or kill them. ”We do not use the weapons of the world.” Hold firmly on to that. When you do you will return to the teaching and...

    QUOTE for the day

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

Your ancestors didn’t treat their enemies the way Jesus and the apostles teach followers of Jesus to treat our enemies. I too had ancestors who killed Muslims, Jews and Christians, to mention only those three categories of people. I’m proud of my ancestors who treated their enemies in...

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

Medieval or modern era, the Christian man and his family have two options: Option 1. Follow the teaching and example of Jesus and the apostles. Option 2. Don’t follow the teaching and example of Jesus and the apostles.

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

Your ancestors killed Muslims, Jews and Christians. Who isn’t here today that would have been if not for the acts of your ancestors?

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

Jesus, the apostles, and the first three centuries of Christian history: Christianity is alive and thriving under persecution. They defended Christianity against evil. Right? They did so without using the weapons of the world. Right?

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

@Ziggy he is lying to you about me. You should also know that he believes that Jesus lied. The personal life encompasses every area and aspect of a person’s life. That’s right. If you were living in China, for example, Jesus commands you not to act treasonously to the civil authorities...

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

I presume you’re speaking about the US government. The US government is not the church. Let’s go back to the 1st century. Paul was writing during the reign of Nero. The government is the Roman Empire. Let’s put your question to Paul —> So if our government is made up of we the people, does...

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

Reconquista. The devil wants to reconquer that which he has lost. Follower of Jesus, that’s you. The devil wants to reconquer you, to enslave you again, to kill you. Teaching people that Jesus approves of his followers killing one another - we can get to what Jesus approves of his followers...

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. I believe that. I teach that. I preach that. I live that. I’ve staked my life on that. If it’s not true that he is then I’ve wasted my life. @rockytopva I believe that you too believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Now you hear...

Historian shares how Islam really began

That’s an interesting observation. The Shema is my creed. (Scot McKnight, as you may be aware, refers to it as “the Jesus creed.”) I make that known to Muslims early on in my conversations with them.

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

It’s called sin, and it can - must - be repented of. Would you agree that lying is a sin? Would you agree that the Bible condemns it? Would you agree that the Lord hates it? Would you agree that all liars are destined for destruction if they remain on that pathway? @Wrangler is enamored with...

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

I don’t think he’s a Muslim but he does share that ethic with them. I do love irony and it would really be something if it actually turns out that he is a Muslim. What he does to me (and others) isn’t Christian, and I use that to my advantage.
