@Rita I think you would probably say this seems to be the case with some of the tattoo thread comments... :)

What Genre of Christian Music Do You Enjoy?

Hi @Rita PS: With rock music, sometimes the issue is how loudly it's played, I also think. Some ppl say they don't like heavy or hard rock, but then if it's played not very loudly in the background they will often be familiar with the track and not find it objectionable and even like it...

Poll: Caffeine, nicotine, vaping: comparable? or rather distinct?

Interesting poll results so far; some quite distinct viewpoints. (Probably hinging on the idea of what addition in its different forms and at its different levels really is.)

@Rita, Well you do indeed hear of even fitness trainers getting ill from those very strong energy drinks.

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@Nancy @Rita @Waiting on him @Sabertooth PS: Some of you guys have rightly bowed out of the discussion if you don't have anything further to contribute. I can see though that the situation which pertained years ago when only men could confidently have a bit of what might or might not be called...

'Depths' is a very profound word, isn't it?

How will we know the real Jesus from a false prophet?

@Nancy So we do need to keep "looking unto Jesus" (Hebrews 12.2), with our base firmly in the Word, don't we?

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@Nancy @Rita @Waiting on him @Sabertooth Also there's the witness design aspect, of course. But as regards the fun aspect, when many years ago it was a man only thing to do, this was really a bit like saying that yes, the men can have a bit of fun with ink. But women can't. So now that it's...

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@Nancy @Rita @Waiting on him @Sabertooth PS: I know you guys might not want to add more; just wanted to say to you guys that as regards the fun thing, quite definitely some ppl do treat tattoos as a bit of fun; while others treat it so seriously. Whether the Christian at some stage or other has...

Is it a sin to use contraception?

@Rita Oh I know. :) I do take your point about not liking condoms. Even though in some ways they may be less problematic than other forms of bc. Some married couples just don't like them at all.

    Beware Of Increasing Debt

Well, the conscience may be stirred by many things in a very personal way; I do also think that it's the conscience that counts in conjunction with what Scripture says, rather than the conscience ever supposedly overruling what Scripture says. This is how I see it.
