Because we don't agree with these verses, and they are dotted through the OT and the NT. The idea of Jesus having a God is preposterous to the incarnationist(oops, I let the cat out).

Folks disagree with the 3 verses of the OP. They cannot imagine greeting folks like Paul did in Eph 1:3. Have you ever heard anyone greet a congregation etc., with "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus...". No, they run from such first century language.

I can see God accepting mankind(Grace). But man accepting God? That means God is on the same level as man....like God groveling on our level hoping that wicked men would accept Him.

I agree with Jesus is God, but the scriptures per the OP says Jesus has a God as we speak. So, can you make this work? I figured it out already, but I will hold back so you can give me your thoughts on whether to incorporate or dismiss the verses from the OP.

It all starts from whether someone obeys Acts 2:38 or not. If one disobeys Acts 2:38, they are not in the Acts church, but a denomination. If one obeys Acts 2:38, they are in the Acts church, which is not a denomination.

I guess it is this easy....folks don't agree with many verses in their Bible. Jesus and the apostles taught Jesus has a God right now as we speak. We disagree wth the Apostles and Jesus, but I know exactly why. If you want to know what causes this phenomenon, just ask....

Jesus was sinless because he had the Holy Ghost without measure and was led by it. It assisted him to refrain from sinning and to the cross, left him to die then resurrected him from the dead. He was the example of walking in the Spirit for all to observe.

Amen. We may need someone to explain things to us(generally at first), but after years of reading it, it seems to suddenly come together without outside explanation. This is becoming a first century disciple, rather than a modern disciple.
