The thing to remember is that God does not just want new converts or mature believers, He wants both.

You don't have to be like someone to be kind to them; and you don't have to keep being kind to be liked (selah)

God created, by faith. Genesis establishes that that "faith", took time.

In a similar vein to the notion of an Evolutionary buildup, there is a sense in which passing on incomplete Evolutions, along with Evolution of a particular species grants the organism more novel ways in which to reinvent Evolution. I believe it is possible to reinvent Evolution, that's why we...

The answer is both. Some will interpret the new Earth literally and live a new life on a new Earth literally, others will interpret the new Earth spiritually and live a new life on a new Earth spiritually. That's why it's so important that you work out your salvation, there are real...

Even someone perfect, is tempted with irrationality (selah)

Hi there, So it is true, we are made in the image of God, by inspiration and shaped in the impression of Christ, by spirit - but what about when we reach Heaven? When we reach Heaven, we are given a Heavenly body (scripture confirms this), which is strengthen by resistance. Chief resistance is...

Sorry.

Hi there, I posted an instructional video link (for masturbation) and it was removed for being against forum rules. Could you elaborate please? There was no nudity or foul language. Thanks, C

I agree the issue in Revelation is worship, but I would qualify that worhsip is the issue in Revelation because worship was the issue at the Cross. Fascinating, very fascinating.

It's been a while now, you should have been praying enough!

It seems a bit random (gifts, red sea; Jesus, how old is the earth). What are you trying to get at? That there are no contradictions, given the right perspective?

Hi there, So this is a simple thought experiment: God can be quick, but can He do something for a long time? Now, there is quickening in the Holy Spirit, that's true. You can suddenly find you have an ability to do something well, when previously you found it difficult. However, that...

I don't think that's fair, if the Lord created any kind of Church, it would be foremost on His mind to do it lawfully - that is, in a hot way or a cold way. I think every Church in the beginning is hot or cold - thanks for the inspiration to consider this!

Death is the last enemy. I think what I had to do was cut my hormones off?

Hi there, So when trying to grasp what Jesus did and how He did it, it is a little difficult to know where to start or to what extent. That's because after having descended from the Cross, and committed Himself to the grave, Jesus did something peculiar in Hell and created a work of Death. What...

Maybe what EGs are looking for is a "build up" of Evolution in an organism, a build up that can be assigned relevance in one way or another. Knowing what a given individual thought was relevant, at death, over time would amount to a transcendence of death, at least death to known pressures...

You could apply a hot/cold test to this notion of the Church falling away: as in, when the Church falls away, is it in a hot way or a cold way?

If you need to speak up about mistreatment, it is the Holy Spirit that is supposed to speak.

Assuming God wants to speak, you have to be ready to hear Him, that means there needs to be silence in you, that He can speak through. If you need to create silence for God, the Holy Spirit can council you how.
