I really saw the Holy Spirit or holy Ghost with my own eyes. What does that mean?

How do you know what you saw was the Holy Spirit?

The violation of the Nuremberg Codes

The only reason those from Axis powers were put on trial at Nuremburg was because they lost. The allies didn't submit to the authority of the court. Let us also consider that their heinous crimes were tried ex-post facto. Their crimes were from before international law was established. So it...

    Receiving the Holy Spirit

I could hear something or say something and my spirit will rise up in me. But it doesn't happen all the time. No doubt the Holy Spirit is involved.

How to avoid the mark of the Beast.

Very flippant with with the truth, and concerning things you know nothing about.

GOD Talks To People In Dreams = Genesis 20;3-6, Matthew 1;20

I've learned God's will about specific things through one-off dreams God has given. Also had the supernatural symbolically represented in dreams by imagery, to explain what is going on around me, or would be going on. Some appeared to have the intention of encouraging me. To tell me the end...

GOD Talks To People In Dreams = Genesis 20;3-6, Matthew 1;20

The double confirmation is prophetic in that it will surely come to pass. But a one-off dream from God may not be about a future set in stone.

Is it ever ok to lie?

That you wouldn't have to lie to the Nazi, as a jew in their mind isn't a jew in yours.

Is it ever ok to lie?

One could answer 'no' truthfully if they believe Romans 2:28-29. And no this specific dress doesn't make you look fat.

Is it ever ok to lie?

May as well tell your dad the hospital called and cancelled the MRI. If he is aware enough to ask follow-up questions tell him what you think, that they found something in the CT. If he isn't aware enough to ask, may as well wait for the doctor. That's how I would approach it.

Is it ever ok to lie?

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion, he may need a biopsy taken to determine if the tumor is malignant or not. But you would think they would move faster than 2 weeks.

Is it ever ok to lie?

Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. I think it is better to die than to lie, but have encountered a situation where it was necessary to lie. With a...

Is it ever ok to lie?

I needed to pray rather this topic should be allowed to continue.

Is it ever ok to lie?

An abuse of authority for evil is a sin, like when king David sent Uriah to be killed to get rid of him. However in this case God was just in sending a lying spirit. We must consider who he was sending the lying spirit to. Corrupt lying false prophets of Baal. They deceive others daily, so...

Is it ever ok to lie?

God did not lie since he didn't make a declaration, but gave a command to Abraham. If I send a servant and then call them to do something else, that is my choice not lying. God is not answerable to anyone so he can withold what he likes.

Is it ever ok to lie?

I think not as God was establishing that the firstborn male of every womb belongs to God. This would have included Isaac. By withholding knowledge of the Redemption offering that God was going to allow he tested Abraham. However without the offering his life would have been expected.

    Outstanding move of God ???

I watched it. This wouldn't have happened without obeying the word and reliance on the gifts of others. Not to mention the need was always real when miracles were performed. It seems when God multiplies something it happens because giving to the needy was extended beyond our means to supply...

Is it ever ok to lie?

I was not quoting scripture, otherwise you would get a chapter & verse. What Adam and Eve understood is irrelevant. Not God's responsibility for people to understand him correctly.

Is it ever ok to lie?

God doesn't lie. Each of these interpretations can be debunked. The lying spirit was sent, God did not himself lie. Same goes for other times spirits were used. Adam and Eve died the same day from God's perspective as a day is as a thousand years and thousand years as a day. Also if the ages...

Is it ever ok to lie?

Perhaps the ruler is angry with good reason. This scripture tells us to continue about your businesses, as opposed to running to them to confess. Ecclesiastes 10:4

Is it ever ok to lie?

I think lying by omission isn't biblical. Maybie it is a thing for those under the authority of another, or if they have an agreement to report. Suppose someone is acting in a play, is it alright to lie then? I think it is to be expected acting in a play.
