You missed the previous verse. Obeying the commandments of Jesus - to believe on Him and love one another, keeps us safe from the devil. He cannot touch us. 18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him...

So you believe the Word of God, but are selective and you don't believe what it says is for you? I guess I have the faith of a child and believe everything in our New Covenant is for us and will not cease before the end of the Covenant.

Sorry, but you are misinterpreting Romans 7:17 and 20 and taking them completely out of context. Everything from 14-25 is Paul speaking of those who are only under the law, before Christ. They still have sin in them, don't they? Jesus was manifest to take away our sin, and in Him is no sin. 1...

This is the only spiritual thing I can see, though I've seen visions, and have had vivid dreams that I knew were from God. Plus, I can hear God's voice since 1977. I have a Spirit-filled friend who can see a darkness hovering around people who have an attachment. And at times she has also seen...

All I did was pray that God give me this gift if it was from Him. And I received it that day.

Or less, but often. It should be part of our born again nature to be a giving person. And not just with money; we should not act as though we are "entitled" as those who end up with road rage.

10% tithing is the letter of the law that kills. We are to obey the Spirit and give according to His will. And that may be more than just 10%.

Seeing as the Antichrist is called "the beast" it may be that Satan, himself, enters him and animates his dead body as a mocking to the three days and three nights of Christ.

Very good! I agree totally. Again, AMEN! There are different levels of obedience. A baby Christian is given level one commandments to keep. As he lives up to that level he is sinless in the eyes of God. Phil. 3:16. But not as sinless as he will be when the Author and Finisher of our faith...

It the Tree of Life in hell??? Why make a tree of life if we are already immortal? Your belief could be because of sadism in your heart. What if your name isn't in the Book of Life? Would you still hope the same? Matthew 7:21-23

What don't you understand? I have already agreed that unsaved humans will be cast into the lake of fire. But that doesn't mean we will be able to live in it to suffer forever. The lake of fire will destroy us completely because WE ARE NOT IMMORTAL. 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into...

The scriptures tell everything I told you. This is why your claim about me is ignorant of where I looked. Genesis 3: 22 Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and...

You better take time, brother! You've got a lot to learn, so don't give up so quick.

Yes, the lake of fire is where both the devils and unsaved humans go. But the the point is are both destroyed instantly, or must one of them suffer forever. If so, which one? Or do both suffer forever. If humans, then how did they get access to the Tree of Life? After Adam sinned, he wasn't...

Tree of Life. Do you see it anywhere? LOL Hell was made for Satan and his angels, not human beings. Just as in the parables, the chaff is destroyed! Can you jump into lava and not have it consume you instantly?

It would take access to the Tree of Life. All the angels had access before Satan sinned, so they are all immortal. But the unsaved humans are not immortal, like our born again spirit and soul is.

Matthew 6:14-15 is talking about trespasses, not sins of lawlessness. There is a difference. Trespasses are sins NOT unto death. If a serial killer kills your family and never repents, are we to forgive them even though God doesn't? Are we to be better than God?

Think about what it would take for us to be immortal which is what eternal suffering would imply.

You rebuke with mocking? That's hypocritical. Look in the mirror. Okay, we are even, so STOP. I really want to know what you BELIEVE about sinlessness. That is holiness. Peter says, 1 Peter 1:16 “Be holy, for I am holy.” It seems you don't think Jesus meant for us to be sinless in this...
