Hi guys. Just jumping in here...and I see @charity is reading along too. :) My take on this is different. 1 Cor 6 9-11. " Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? ... Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the...

I think this will ever be an ongoing fight, not easily won. Bottom line is ...the thief come to destroy, kill and take away ...it is like candy to him. He has many followers as we know  God bless you x

On that I can agree. To me I hear you saying that we can be saved today, but may be unsaved tomorrow. I can understand that if one is not a believer in the 'gifts and callings' and offices of leadership and responsibilities in the heavens ( as James and John did who requested to sit on His...

Amen. :) God can, and must be trusted to the end...that is our faith.."when I can't, He can!! " THAT is our solid faith. Ive had six week of this being tested. Pain, darkness, confusion, on why my prayers and others prayers don't seem to be answered. Plus not being able to 'feel' the...

Sorry John. On this I disagree with you. We are not called to keep on struggling all our life to be justified before Him. What you are saying is in fact- that we can walk a good walk of faith, fight the good fight all our life...then through something sideswiping us on our last day on earth we...

We seem to be told so often that we must have works to maintain salvation. ( Always using the book of James ! ) That starts the thought pattern and navel gazing/ " Have I got enough works to balance my faith." / " How much works is enough? " etc etc The faith v works has been going around and...

Come on @bbyrd009 Your time was up yesterday...where are you?

I believe this is were faith comes in. And it's time to say - " Lord I cant do this." The sooner we come to the realization that for us it is impossible (Israel had 4000 yrs of proof that man could not keep the commandments ) ..then we will hear and understand that God says.. " Good, glad...

Thanks for the warning. Much appreciated. :)

No, still have the headache..and have to limit time on the screen. I don't have an appointment with the clinic until Oct 5th....I just missed you all so much, and said to myself - " Headache or not, I'm going on the Site.." Haha! I may pay for it in a hour...but I have no regrets LOL...

Rita , you are not alone. I believe what you are yearning for is the constant "felt" presence of the Lord. But beloved, that is where faith comes in. I was telling Nancy the other day on the phone that His felt Presence for me..vanished during this physical fight I am still in. I...

Then they have never had any true understanding of the Grace of God or the price paid. Those who have "tasted and seen that He is good..." find it impossible to continue in sin. They cannot abide darkness. Light is where they are comfortable and belong. Those who are continually torn...

Yep another good clear word. Agree.

AMEN...well, and clearly said!! :)

Agree. We are first birthed through the water of The Word of God. Our ears are then opened and then the Holy Spirit touches out 'dead' soul and gives us life. IMHO

Maybe so, maybe not!!! I think not ! She sure was not inspired by the Holy Spirit. She is very dark and had led many many children to look at witchcraft. There is nothing I can endorse in her books. And the movies are worse.

Agree...my experience in 60 and 70's was the same...no move of the Spirit has even come close to what God was doing in those days. :( The Wave, crested, broke, and ebbed.....

I remember reading about her, or saw an interview with her...I forget which. When younger she used to sing with all the Goodman's and was soprano. Nothing special. One time she lost her voice , sore throat or cold or something...and when she got her voice back..it was the deeper powerful voice...

Mine too!! :( Sigh.

How fun...you will be a blessing to them. God does some special things :)
