Praying for you in this my friend!

Thank you for those verses, Sister. Give God the glory!

Thank you my friend and brother in Christ.

Thank you sincerely for your prayers. For the moment, the cancer seems to be gone. No more chemotherapy...

@Ben Abraham Joh 11:35 Jesus wept. Mt 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Mt 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Mt 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my...

Would it not depend upon the individual and his walk with and his calling from God? How much authority does God have over you and me during our allotted time here in the flesh? Only as much as we give Him. Many times, I believe, God or His Son, is knocking on a man's door wanting to come into...

Mt 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. Mt 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not...

How much authority did Jesus have over devils and demons according to the gospel narratives? How like Jesus are we now and how much like him can we become?

I certainly agree here. Even in my day also as a young man I encountered too many putting on show to win people effectively to themselves instead of to God. How hungry and thirsty is a person for the righteousness of God? Will He not fill even a newby who knows little? Mt 5:6 Blessed are they...

Temptations continue to be in our lives until and if we overcome all temptations as I believe that Jesus did [Matt 26:44, John 16:33]. In each battle fought against temptation we either win or we lose. When we are on the Lord's side we cannot lose because He does not lose. Are we able to...

My earliest experience with God was enhanced by Catholic nuns and priests. I was the only one in my immediate family for many years who made any apparent [to me] at serving God. Being led by the Holy Spirit is perhaps the authority about which you speak. With that I would certainly agree. Not...

@MatthewG Hello old friend. Consider in your thoughts on this also these verses penned by the Apostle Paul: Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the...

Remember also these words from Jeremiah: O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. Jerem 10:23 Ultimately, we have only two choices as I believe it: to go God's Way or our own. That is according to His right hand or his left...

Praying for you in this effort. May God richly bless you.

Read it as God directs you, sister. One thing I see is this: If led as the right hand or as the right hand directs, is that not God's Way, the Holy Spirit being out front showing us the way? If led, on the other hand, as the left hand or as the left hand directs is that not the carnal way, the...

Ec 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: Ec 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; Ec 3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; Ec 3:4...

So, what is a "Christian" and are any of the definitions men apply to that word without doubt the right ones that hold water with God? God knows! Does any man know? Yes, if God has revealed it to any man.

My mistake. Give God the glory!

Lu 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
