Was Jesus Heretical? - Why did they crucify Him?

All that is heretical is not of God. Orthodox either is or is not. Unfortunately, many who consider themselves as orthodox are actually heretics, rather than those they accuse, which continues even to this day. So, No, Jesus was not a heretic, but those who crucified Him were.

    The Time is Fulfilled

It would depend on whether you were asking the question regarding the whole or only the part of what was referred to. In other words, there is a context and truth regarding that immediate time, but also a greater context regarding all of time (before and after His coming) just as the acts of...

When did the last days start? (Answered)

As with all things written of the kingdom of God but in worldly terms and settings, this is just another abstract topic. If one explains according to the worldly context in which it is given, he is correct. While it is also true that if another explains according to the context of only the...

The 70 Weeks Prophecy - The Ezra 6:14 Challenge

Here is the decree: Genesis 3:22 Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—

Most Prophecy Teachers Clearly Reject God's Word!

Not exactly. Yes there are errors in translations and even the promotion and agendas of many false doctrines. Thus, it is only the scriptures by spiritual discernment that are without contradiction. Even so, none of this is coincidence, but God's strength made perfect in weakness and the equal...

How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

Yes God, no Satan and no translations. His strength is made prefect in weakness and God's word is His providence, not that of men who translate. The truth must be spiritually discerned, by design.

How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

And about this: So the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And...

Most Prophecy Teachers Clearly Reject God's Word!

Welcome Freedm! Sorry, but there is quite a bit of misunderstanding if not error in that. Certainly, misunderstandings should be made clear. Given the benefit of the doubt, yes there are contradictions in translations, but not in the scriptures. Such would-be contradictions are due rather to a...

Most Prophecy Teachers Clearly Reject God's Word!

My wife does the same thing when someone asks for directions, even when they don't. ;) She, who has a poor sense of direction will step up, often cutting in front of me to give her two cents worth giving no clear direction or help. But I love her...and yes, she has many other great qualities...

How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

Yes, it is written "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse." Romans 1:20

How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

You are violating context against many other scriptures that say just the opposite. Again, you are not reconciling all scripture, simply to support your own doctrine and desire. But it is not bad to have such a desire--even God has that same desire...but He also states that all are not saved...

How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

I am not here to agree or disagree. This is a time of correction and the revealing of the whole mystery of God unto all truth. There is no debating.

How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

And you are again forgetting the enemy who sank the ship...and the rats.

How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

That's not what I asked. Of course Jesus saves all who are given to him by the Father. But that is not what I asked and not the issue. I specifically asked where scripture says that God saves "all evil", meaning even Satan.

How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

But you have forgotten the wolves. In other words, your theology is like claiming that God will save all the sheep and all the wolves. What scripture tells of God saving all evil? There is none.

How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

No, the contradiction is you applying God's wrath upon evil to those He has elected for salvation. In other words, if you said "I will kill a bear to save my family", your would-be contradiction is like saying, "I will kill a bear and my family." You are not "rightly dividing the word of truth."

    Dogmatic Christianity

Your misunderstanding is not the measure of what is true. As for a plethora of scripture, you have no room to comment, for you yourself apparently rejected the very idea of God's judgment and chosing as a potter chooses what to fire and what to discard. Best learn to reconcile all that is...

    Dogmatic Christianity

For the Lord will not cast off forever. "Cast off" in that context simply refers to the fact that the end is indeed coming as promised. That is, it refers to God having driven mankind from the garden. Genesis 3:24

    Dogmatic Christianity

Thank you. But translation variable is no different than a difference in understanding. Such things are of men, not all of whom are to be trusted. Only God is correct. So, unless you are willing to stake all your believes and understanding on the idea that God and forever is not forever, then...
