WHAT IS THE WATER IN JOHN 3:5?

    1. If the bible is God's word.....and I'm not saying it isn't....then why do we not all agree?? 2. There are some that know MUCH MORE than any of us here ever will. You can disagree with them if you wish. I don't agree with all either...but at least I respect what they know that I do not...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

You said, more than once, that it was doctrine. But let's get away from this.

WHAT IS THE WATER IN JOHN 3:5?

Here's the problem doctrox.... You THINK you have the truth.... other members think THEY have the truth. How many truths do you think there are? Perhaps YOU are teaching another gospel? But you don't care to discuss... you just like to spew out your comments.... do not pay any attention to...

WHAT IS THE WATER IN JOHN 3:5?

Get on track Behold. The Apostolic Fathers and the ECFs were GREAT... it's those that came after them that messed up. You should read them sometime. I didn't think it was important either,,,but it made me understand a lot of what is in the NT. Tradition is second, but whatever you want to...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

It is if I can prove it with scripture that does not conflict with other scripture. God did not teach that we are to pray to those that have gone before us. It just isn't there Nedsk.

Is it possible to lose salvation?

I'm a bit beyond Theology 101. If you want to have a conversation,,,fine... but it's going to have to have some meat in the stew. You made quite some accusations regarding a simple post to you. I said you misunderstood and you STILL want to continue? I don't think so. Catch you next time...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Good Bread... Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. It does seem to me that it might have been brought up at some point. I don't think about this too much. I'm interested in soteriology.

Is it possible to lose salvation?

I was thinking of THIS IS MY BODY WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.... But check out John 6:53 In Greek the word used for EAT means to chew.

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Nedsk.... How one receives communion is absolutely not a dogma. But it also isn't a doctrine. maybe @BreadOfLife could chime in. I DO respect his knowledge. I asked a Deacon, BTW.

Is it possible to lose salvation?

BTW Jesus said it was His body. He did Not say to pray to persons that had passed away.

Is it possible to lose salvation?

LOL We don't understand a lot about God. My "not understanding" is based on Biblical info and Theological knowledge.

Is it possible to lose salvation?

How one receives Communion is NOT doctrine. That was my point. Not speaking about flying hosts...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

LOL @Marymog asked you first ! Come on Ronals Nolette.... what YOU believe causes much conflict in NT teachings. I'll await your reply to my post to you.

WHAT IS THE WATER IN JOHN 3:5?

Many writings were not included in the New Testament. The number one reason for including a letter was that it had to be an eye witness or the next line down. Another reason was for space. Did you know that the Didache almost also made it into the NT. Because a written document is not included...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Hi Ronald,,,, We Protestants have a problem.... we don't seem to be able to agree on some basic doctrine. Basically due to some new, modern ideas that have come about that never existed in the early church. Know why they didn't exist in the early church? Because Jesus, Paul and others did not...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Sorry.... Yes,,,sometimes threads get carried away. @Behold brought up good works as being filthy rags. I plan to reply to this... but tomorrow.

Is it possible to lose salvation?

LoveYeshua The comma is an old topic. Luke 23:43 43And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” 1. Of course Jesus was speaking to the thief TODAY...no need to mention it. 2. In other languages it makes no sense to say TODAY unless Jesus meant that very...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Bread... We UNDERSTAND your definition of PRAY. The problem is we don't agree with it. If I remember Macabees states something about praying to the dead...those already gone ahead of us. I really can't find it anywhere else - I'm thinking of the NT. My point, if you care to address it, is the...
