That is hard work, even with a dozen people. We used to live in community with 25 others. We killed a beef once and had to butcher it..it took hours and then all the clean up afterward. Not the most fun of days. :( Hope you have a good day tomorrow. Much blessing be on you all....Helen

Aah , now that would be telling :) ...too long a story and all linked to 'where' we were doing to in Canada. We were going into the deep bush, north of 'the world' haha! Almost as high up as Alaska...but into the wilderness. It related to that.... it wasn't "a" scripture or anything...

Haha!...Not so fast there. I never did say that we "got direction".. We already had the word from the Lord, we already had confirmations on it..the advert was ( we felt) a humorous extra confirmation from the Lord. There is a great difference between "direction" and 'confirmation'!! Direction...

Oh no Frank :( That is sad...and on Christmas Eve too. Bless your heart. We have been praying, and will continue to pray. Asking God to fill your room there with angels...healing angels. And blessing you dear wife too. God bless and give you wonderful staff that are full of wisdom. ♥︎

@101G I was saying to myself...why would I think that Abraham, Moses, and the others in the OT would have heard from God any differently than we do! I am sure that we all remember the very first nudge God gave us in getting our attention...and how we 'just knew' it was Him. All hearing is by...

@101G Good post bro...and I am still musing on your post # 145 also. It was excellent. It made my dad. I like things which make me stop and think... :)

Thanks for that...very good thoughts :) And for sure "food for thought" bro. Well I thought that I had, ( Heard His audible voice ) but now you cause me to think again....which is always good. I will loop in and tag @1stCenturyLady here, as she asked me about it the other day. Anyway...we...

Not Abraham...but Moses. Exodus 33.11. “And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.”

@epostle Hey there...where have you been....it’s been a while. Have a blessed Christmas :)

Good for you...my husband never writes anything , unless I put a pen in his hand and say “Write something”.. He is s phone man...he calls everyone and their uncle....trouble is, our relatives and old friends are over in England. :rolleyes:

Are you a night owl, or have you not been to sleep yet? It must be “the wee hours” in the morning , over there ?

Not this year ...my christmas shopping was finished weeks ago. Thankfully ...

It is 11.35 and I would LOVE to be dreaming about ANYTHING! :D I fell asleep at 10pm , but I am now awake again :( Very annoying. It has been white outside since September...so it will be a White Christmas here for sure. Bless you....H

WELCOME TO THE FORUM. Hope that you soon feel at Home . :)

Interesting. I had always felt that when God spoke to Adam, Abraham, Moses etc that it was an inner knowing....I had never ever thought of it being by vision. Mainly because when it is dreams or visions , the bible says so.. When Gideon was 'speaking and hearing' from God on the matter of the...

Bless you! And have a good Christmas :) Children's ministry is indeed hard work...and maybe we don't see the fruit of it for many a year... But I can remember things that my Sunday school teacher taught when I was seven. It is a sowing seed time. But the burn out rate is high. lol God bless...

I say about myself and my family , what God says about us all. God wanted Gideon, Joshua, and David to agree with Him about themselves, and by faith they did. They believed what He said about them. I am sure all you bible students know each scripture mentioned here. ... < I have faith in...

I have got really blessed in reading through all these posts. Amen...great thread. :)

I must say...after a year of hearing such anti-christian agenda's in the news...I have totally enjoyed hearing all the Christmas carols in the Malls and on the radio. ✟ :)

Amen!! Something we agree upon for sure!!
