Amen to that! God is so good, and we have much to be thankful for ...not only for mountain top experiences, but for the valleys too. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.

Well I know that sometimes I do lose track a bit... so you had me going there... I was thinking to myself ...”goodness what did I say, and WHERE did I say it, and what am I talking about. :D Bless you.....H

Who is this THEY that you keep speaking about in your posts?? Don't tell me that we have another one here that has "all knowledge and can see into the hearts of mankind.." God help us!! ↑ @Philip James said < I vehemently disagree with this. I believe the desire for God is...

That is the trouble that I was talking about many posts back. You and GodsGrace are so caught up with this Calvin diversion you can't see anything else. I said earlier that I was not posting about Calvin or cared about Calvin and if I knew that this thread was all about " we hate Calvin" then...

Are you quoting me, I can't tell...I have no reference to this post of yours...sorry ..not sure what we are speaking about.

That is not what Paul is speaking about...so we have our wires crossed..a train on two different tracks...they usually collide!! So we'll just drop it now. blessings...H

@GerhardEbersoehn I tried talking to you weeks ago, and gave up because of the attitude I saw that you used to others who tried discuss with you. Im sorry that I tried it again, on this thread and the other one about types etc. You speak down to people like are all idiots...it must be hard...

So you are still talking about salvation, not our calling and election that Paul spoke of....okay.

So you say...

Joseph for one...was a shadow and type of Christ...raised to the Throne...fed the nations when starving ...provided for his brethren etc etc.... Boaz too , a type of the Redeemer....

LOVE IT!! I must say I never even realised that we can never ever "confess ALL our sins"... Not that I have ever tried, I don;t even believe it means that when people get born again. I have heard pastors and people say " Now confess your sin to God and you will be saved...rubbish...never in...

I am beginning to believe what @BreadOfLife says about you..you just change the subject. In that post I put up , I mentioned no one dying. She is still not dead, she is still preaching all these years later in her old age. You are very flippant... I was bring out the point in that post ...

That is interesting...in all my time I have never thought of that. Neither have I ever heard anyone expound upon it!! I wish someone would explain the difference. BTW, where is your friend @101G these days? I haven't seen him for ages. Maybe he has snuck off to another forum and not told us...

Aah...okay, ....so three hours ahead of us then. :) Thanks. x

Oh Ouch Nancy!! lol So what did Paul mean when he said " Make your calling and election sure?" Sometimes I feel like a am a long playing record. I will have to come up with a different term...many will soon not even know what a long playing record was!! Anyway..Calling and Election has nothing...

Is that Central time?, or Eastern time? I am "Mountain time" here. :)

Sorry, I am only just catching up with this thread...so I am going backward to page 1 also :) My answer is, yes it 'could have' I guess, ...but kind of a non question ..because God had not destined for it to stop before the Last Spotless Lamb was sacrificed. The high priest even confirmed that...

Interesting, How so?... My understanding from Colossians 2:14 is the answer is yes it did. 14 "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.." Thanks
