The book was originally sent to the seven Christian congregations located in the large cities of Asia Minor- the southwestern part of modern Turkey (Rev. 1:4,11). There is sufficient evidence that, at the time, Christians suffered increasing persecution from the Romans. The worst persecution was...

Fascinating that the drinking Christian is being portrayed as the "stronger in faith'. I think that is hilarious and sad at the same time.

There is a simple explanation to the issue of Jesus' brothers and sisters, without giving to them a symbolic or allegorical meaning. The scripture actually says that His brothers at one time didn't believe He was the Messiah. This negates any fanciful idea that any reference to brothers or...

Deleted... Wrong thread.

I'm curious. What is it exactly that you have faith in that informs you that drinking alcohol is entirely appropriate for a Christian who is told by scripture to keep himself unspotted from the world?

Nuh. It came via Facebook messenger.

So please prove how the ten commandments were faulty.

And right here is your principle mistake. You believe God gave them His Commandments in order that they should earn righteousness? After all that He taught Abraham, 'and his faith was accounted to him for righteousness', and all that the prophets taught, 'the just shall live by faith', you...

No. Here is an excellent post that explains why you, and many others, are mistaken regarding what the old covenant actually is. God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

So I just received a short video and a random dude going to the VAERS website. He showed precisely how he entered the query to find out how many deaths. What he did looked perfectly legit. The answer came up... There are 51,347 rows (deaths), but can only show details for no more than 10,000.

All good until here... You have inferred here that the "old covenant" is the ten commandments. You won't find that in scripture. The first covenant was made in Eden between God and Adam when God ironized a Savior. Surely you wouldn't suggest this was faulty? Agree. How does this help your...

@Curtis KJV Exodus 20:1-2 1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3. I am about to put you into even greater bondage by giving you My law. Curtis Translation of the OT Scriptures.

You have much to learn.

Whether you eat or drink, do all to the glory of God. That may not make the issue religious, but it makes it Christian.

Alcohol? You sure about that? Not just 'fruit of the vine'?

I regret having to say this, but your whole post borders on blasphemy. Borders, because I believe done in ignorance and a lack of understanding of what the law actually is. But you do need to read over it again and consider all you have declared.

So everybody keeps telling me. I am sure though if I did a little research, I could find several theologians who didn't smoke. I will not do that though, because it will prove no more than you have done. All it proves is God is gracious. That's it. He spoke through a donkey once, that doesn't...

But we're not talking about eating and drinking. We're talking about alcohol and whether it adversely affects the human minds to such an extent that it gives no glory to God and destroys out testimony. That's the bottom line. As I said earlier in this conversation to which you replied with a run...

Not the ideal way to find truth. One can devise anything in his head and find something in scripture claiming it supports your idea. That's what Catholics do. It's what BoL has done with Luke 1:28. If however you start without any preconceived ideas, and you read Luke 1:28, there is really no...

He's a Freemason, and it's likely they who are controlling those very cyber attacks in order to escalate the rioting.
