Grace-Haters are incapable of honestly admitting what the (P) in Calvinism really means.

I'm not ignorant to what you believe. Every Christian believes salvation is of the Lord.

I had asked you what you think I don't know about calvinism. You saying that I don't does not make it so. If you want to have an intelligent conversation I'm up for it. Otherwise, it's a waste of time. BTW I know what the P stands for.

Jesus and Paul did not teach OSAS. We can, however, believe in eternal security IF we are NOW found in Christ, as you stayed. If we endure till the end, we will be saved. Matthew 24:13 Jesus said that BTW.

What about Calvinism do you think I don't understand? As to why so many are against it? Because it's not orthodox Christianity,,,it's heretical. Not only are the doctrine incorrect, they change the nature of God. I don't think God is too happy about that. I believe Calvin was an extremely...

Robert, there's some mistake. I thought YOU were agreeing with Calvinism. That soteriology is not even biblical. And I don't believe OSAS is biblical either. Sorry I caused you to write so much. To clarify: Calvinism is heretical. OSAS is not biblical.

    divorce and remarriage?

Right. I think keeping each other happy is the key.

    divorce and remarriage?

I said previously that marriage has to be a commitment. I also think it's wonderful for a married couple to age together and have all their memories of younger days. And when do they need each other more than in their older years? It saddens me that so many let the evil one have the victory.

    divorce and remarriage?

Yes, this is what happened. Joseph loved Mary and did not want her stoned to death. Think of this: God said it is not good for man to be alone. But if a spouse leaves, the other must live out their life alone? I've never understood this.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

Yes it does! I hate to lie. I can never remember what I said the last time! Better to be honest.

    divorce and remarriage?

In Corinthians, paul is speaking of his own opinion. Which, I think, we could all agree with. But it's not what Jesus said. What a conundrum!

    divorce and remarriage?

@Enoch111 is right in saying this is the only reason God gives for divorce. Thus my earlier post about this problem.

Calvin did not make up the 5 points.

We're secure in the arms of Jesus. :)

    divorce and remarriage?

@Nancy Hey Nancy, I think Grailhunter's chart is the funniest one I've ever seen! The more I followed the arrows, the more I laughed.

    divorce and remarriage?

I'm not a member of any denomination. Used to be a Catholic. Left many years ago. Used to be a Nazarene. It was nice...no Nazarene churches closer than Florence. No can do. I go to a CC. I know catholic priests. It's good enough. I don't pay attention to some of the doctrine - which is why I...

I didn't say I was worried about you. Eternal Security is not calvinist. Perseverance of the saints is Calvinist. And it's GOD that KEEPS them saved, whether they like it or not.

    You did good.

I agree that John Calvin was a great theologian. Too bad he was a calvinist ! LOL And, BTW, he IS the source of your theology. This is why it's called Calvinism. Of course the real source is Augustine, who did not believe as other Christians of his time... Calvin loved Augustine. He mentions...
