Explain Revelations So Even I Can Understand It

I have said nothing of the sort, nor do I have a hard time with it. But what you have said is of the flesh.

    Eternal Security

There is truly only one perfect translation: "The words must be spiritually discerned."

    Ever have a supernatural experience?

The natural is pretty super too...but there is more. The subject or comparison of supernatural experiences came up with regard to salvation. There is no such requirement. We are saved by faith. I personally can attest that I could have easily not met God's supernatural encounter with me with...

Explain Revelations So Even I Can Understand It

You are struggling with the confusion placed on all language by God at Babel. Have you not also read that "the life of the flesh is in the blood?" Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is...

Explain Revelations So Even I Can Understand It

Those are Jesus' words. What you say of me, you have said of him.

Explain Revelations So Even I Can Understand It

I refer you then to the scriptures: Isaiah 42:19 "Who is blind but My servant, Or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is perfect, And blind as the Lord’s servant?" Revelations belong to God.

Explain Revelations So Even I Can Understand It

You (and many) confuse Jesus' resurrection from death to life in the flesh with his ascension. Indeed, Jesus rose bodily proving his victory over death in heaven and earth. But there is no resurrection of the dead that includes flesh and blood inheriting the kingdom of God. "Now this I say...

Explain Revelations So Even I Can Understand It

Indeed, Jesus' kingdom is not of this world. However, the kingdom has [already] come: Matthew 12:28 "But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you." You also speak of "His PHYSICAL Kingdom" which is not according to the scriptures. "What you sow...

The Bible states there is one faith, does it identify it?

The kingdom (Jesus' return) "comes not by observation", but rather in the glory of the Father whom is spirit...and while those who do not know him are unaware.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Yes, history (his story, this revelation of Jesus Christ) is the manifestation of good and evil, the evidence brought to light in the judgement. Just as God "is" ("I am"), so too are we. This is the revelation of us, the good and the evil, one day (and night) at a time. Then comes the end.

Explain Revelations So Even I Can Understand It

Just as those did in the history I referred to, you also have a great misunderstanding of how the things of prophecy are fulfilled. But I don't have time to go into it at the moment, so I'll come back later to address the points you have made.

Explain Revelations So Even I Can Understand It

You discredit yourself. Your grudge continues. No one but God taught me anything...and I'm not pushing anything.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

    Yes, but please do elaborate.

Explain Revelations So Even I Can Understand It

You seem to have a grudge issue with a party to whom I have no affiliation with. Even so, you error in thinking that the end comes with something more extravagant than the days of Noah. This error comes from not understanding that such great events have always been: God is the same yesterday...
  15. ScottA

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

There is no issue of language, except confusion.
  16. ScottA

The Bible states there is one faith, does it identify it?

No, it was not limited to that time, but remains true. But back to the subject of faith... The body of Christ has many members, wherein the thumb opposes the fingers but there is no conflict. The spiritual war has many fronts under one Commander.
  17. ScottA

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

So you say. But that simply puts the control back with men...who have no control. Men did not confuse all language, God did...for a greater purpose than you are attributing to men. It's not their master plan, it's his. What men have meant for evil, God has meant for good.

    'Isms for everything...sheesh!

    Understanding the Trinity.

The Trinity is indeed easy to understand and explain...that is, unless you believe otherwise. In which case you will continue with the blinders of religious suppressionists. The image of the Trinity is God-given and we see it everywhere, everyday: Me, myself, and I. It's so easy, it's...
