    Hosea 2

Technically, Israel was God's wife, whom he has since divorced. :) The roll of husband now belongs to God in Christ, and Christ with his church. This he has done so that "there will be one flock and one shepherd."

Are you a Christian confused about taking the vaccine? Part 1

Like food dedicated to idols, there is no power in the virus or the vaccine. If we have given our life to God, we are in his hands and none can remove us..."in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by...

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Absolutely. But not if they agree with scripture, but rather if they do not.

The Bible states there is one faith, does it identify it?

"For he who is not against us is on our side." Mark 9:40
  5. ScottA

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

I was not referring to any comic strip, but rather to your assertion that the word of God has been controlled by men, thus poorly translated. My point is: Men, are not and have never been, in control of God's word. He alone is in control.

Explain Revelations So Even I Can Understand It

The book of Revelation is as it says: "The revelation of Jesus Christ." It is an account of his story in the heavens and upon the earth "Beginning to End." These things written of were and are all made manifest in the world--not as many would believe, but rather as history has attested, such as...

The Bible states there is one faith, does it identify it?

There is but one ribbon of God's revelation of truth down through the ages beginning at the beginning, in which God has made many promises. The one faith referred to in scripture, is faith in the promises of God, whether it was looking forward to their fulfillment...or backwards.
  8. ScottA

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

It doesn't matter what I believe. But, no, I do not believe it, I know it, for it is written. Having said that, all men are not One with God. But those who are, are his body, and as such, are One with him. The problem here only exists when men think as men think.

The Only Problem With The Trinity

We have no need to believe that we cannot know 100% during this lifetime. We have the mind of Christ. He is with us. This whole matter is simply a misunderstandings of what is meant by God's explanation and revealing of himself to his children. The point here is that he was and is speaking to...
  10. ScottA

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

That is a fair assessment of the scriptures, yes. The words are spirit (not literature, and are foolishness as such).
  11. ScottA

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

I have no confusion here. Apparently you do. For the record: If one is One with God, they are also God. They are One [God].
  12. ScottA

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Your whole argument is out in the weeds. You are trying to make a case for scripture being literature. It's not. It must be discerned spiritually. The words are spirit. And you have also made the mistake of thinking that the word of God has been under the power and control of men (who...
  13. ScottA

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Oh, thanks for filling in some of your beliefs. Now I see where you are coming from. However, you are simply stumbling on the language, which God has confused for those who do not have the spirit to discern it--you are taking it literally, as literature, which it is not. The literature that...
  14. ScottA

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Sorry for just coming in on the conversation...but that is not enough information. If you are going to accuse me of being lost, at the very least you should substantiate it with that actual "Good News." Go for it. Do your worst.

    BOOK OF REVELATION

And this they (others) should do knowing that you have not answered a very simple question, and have not stated the very simple truth that the book of Revelation is "the revelation of Jesus Christ." It is also obvious that you are of an "Other Faith" and do not profess Jesus as Lord...yet you...
  16. ScottA

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

On the contrary...this his how we know he is God.
  17. ScottA

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

He didn't have to. But that is the rescue mission. All the world was created as an unpacking of the evil that occurred before God, and then the rescue by Christ, and then the repacking up again. Then comes the end.
  18. ScottA

    BOOK OF REVELATION

My point is rather that there is no need to labor over a book that defines itself as "the revelation of Jesus Christ, the beginning and the end." And anyone who has learned this from the book by the spirit of God, has no need of another teacher. I would not even comment, except what you have...

Personification of the earth in scripture.

You are correct to say that the creation is not the Creator. But that is not the subject. The subject is not "creation", but rather "personification." And certainly, you did not mean to say that God has not created man in his own image. Or did you?
  20. ScottA

    What do you call it??

Those who have come to know God, know who and what they are: they are a child of God, because coming to the knowledge of God (not "believing, but "knowing") is a rebirth from a destiny with death and the end of this organic existence, to life [eternal]. This knowledge is referred to by God...
