There is no "God the Word." You are confusing a thing with authority from a Being, which is synonymous with a person. Words are an attibute of being, not a seperate Being. This explains how God's word was with God. It's not some mystical supposition. Of course God's word has authority. This...

This is just a wordy way of saying Jesus is NOT equal to God.

A distinction without a difference. My pet cat. My pet is a cat.

Average age of the Ukranian soldier is 43 years old. I am disappointed at how many people have been fooled by the propaganists, by the indoctrination, of the NWO the globalists yearn to create. Even among Christians, proving Spiritual discernment remains elusive. There is a manager in my firm...

Brilliant.

It's a 30-second commercial; of course it misrepresents Jesus! No man's entire life and their mission can be fully presented in a 30-second commercial! Liberals don't like the part about Jesus judging. Conservatives don't like the part about Jesus talking care of the poor in Spirit. Like the...

Still, I believe it could lead people to actually read the Bible, to learn about the real Jesus and be saved.

Word games?! What a shame our generation lacks moral clarity. Let me say it again. I am on the record opposed to war with Russia. If these 2 dictatorships want to fight, let them. It is not in our national security interest to intervene. In fact, intervening threatens our national security on...

That disqualifies Ukraine against Russia for there to be no peace.

I guess you have not paid attention to this thread.

Well, lady you got it all wrong - as usual. What is the justifcation for peace? You are like so many indoctrinated into believing there is really no justification for war. Any reason is immediately declared insufficient. I'm flipping the script. How can you justify peace? Your reasons (which...

You do like your Appeal to Strawman. Again, The claim that Ukraine is innocent is not supported by the facts. As far as why Russia would invade Ukraine rather than Mexico is a subset of the justification for peace. To delve into that, I started another thread...

Nope. Again, the fact that Ukraine is the most corrupt country in the West refutes the claim that Ukraine is innocent.

If you think there is nothing wrong with Nazi ideology, that's on you. This facts shows Ukraine is not innocent. To address the justification for peace, I started a separate thread. https://www.christianityboard.com/threads/putin-interview-justification-for-peace.61129/

There is this idea of existing in the form of God's eternal (timeless plan). In that sense we existed before our incarnation. I like the idea but there is no Scriptural evidence that humans have a life outside a body.

Great post! I see it that way as well. This is why I started this thread, flipping the script in terms of how we can justify peace. Sadly, it has not got much traction. Leftists in Ukraine's pockets don't want to deal with facts that get in the way of the narrative...

The correct understanding is made clear in other translations. Some adamently claim it is impossible for "true" Christians to ever sin. This is a post hoc fallacy as they re-categorize those who sin as nver being "true" Christians in the first place. The way other translations put it is that we...

I did not know that.

Shocking. Horrifying. Evil.

He thinks he's God's gift to God. I put him on ignore.
