Certainly not in the manner of humans true, yet He had a Son who became a man. Thai makes God a Father. Unless you think Him just a metaphorical Father and the Son a metaphorical Son. If that's the case then out salvation is dependant upon us believing a metaphor.

So why not focus on Jesus?

There have been several wars in which US soldiers gave their lives that had nothing to do with protecting the freedoms of Americans. Those were wasted lives offered on the altar of greed and power. The Vietnam we even worse. That war was fought for nothing more than religious bigotry.

Didn't you say the last 6 Popes were questionable yet one is a saint? BTW, scripture declares all are saints. All believers are made holy by the blood of the Lamb. Some "saints' I would suggest are highly questionable.

And those very same sinners led councils to decree canons and laws that deprived Christians of their homes, their farms, their livelihoods, their families and their lives, all in the name of "authority'.

This one... KJV Romans 3:31 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

And the ones throughout the ages who were whoremongers, murderers, charlatans, persecutors, haters, proud, warmongers, sadists, despots.... So much for succession.

If I wanted to demean you I could do a lot worse that offer a reflection of the smilie you inserted in your own post. This one...:(

As we all are To what? Indeed. And I have never seen anyone in any Christian forum ever, even for the 30 years I've been doing this, claim anyone is justified by obeying the law. And I didn't either and you know this, yet you have to remind everyone all the time. Why is that?

Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Sincerity, trust, humility, and a desire for a better way. A true heart…sincerity…honesty…keeping it real. Don’t waste...

There is a great deal that we cannot control in life. Governments for example can affect our lives through taxes, a myriad of laws and regulations etc. And our opposition, Satan, is determined to destroy those things over which we do have control. What we must do, and this matters not what...

No, he is correct...the doers of the law are justified. (Romans 2:13) BUT, it isn't by their law-keeping that they are justified. (Romans 3:20) Confused? Let me explain. Both concepts above are correct. Yes, the doers of the law are justified. And yes, we are justified by faith through...

Continued... However, there is good news. The gospel was to be restored. Daniel 8:14 says… And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. The sanctuary was to be restored. God would not allow his arch-enemy to have his way in his endeavor to...

Continued.... Daniel 8:11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. 12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the...

You're sad. So, I guess you really do want an answer. Okay, here goes. The sanctuary is God’s plan or blueprint or model by which man may be brought back into the presence of God. Man was lost. The sanctuary was a map for man that he may find his way home. It is God’s Plan of Salvation, His GPS...

Hey @marks. Last time I popped in here for a look was just a couple of days ago...man, you talk about sin and look what happens. And people said we shouldn't talk about it lol. I wonder why when there is so much vehement disagreement on what it is, how God has dealt with it, and what our...

Is the following a part of preaching/sharing/living the gospel? Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are...

First. What happened to 'secondly'? Never mind, been there, done that lol. Second. How serious are you in looking forward to my clarification...on learning why and how I arrived at my "theories". I am happy to explain, but it isn't something I can do so briefly. I do have a full and...

Your church is, certainly. Good description. Pity about the king. A socialist evolutionist who supports gay rights.

And not altogether wrong. While I can understand s thoughtful vote to retain constitutional law and so corruption and the desire to prosper, the Cyrus business I think it's a little over the top. I am not convinced that God has chosen Trump to "save America". I can see end time prophecy being...
