Job is not confused if he is in agreement with the rest of scripture. He quite clearly and lucidly states that after his body is long dead and eaten by worms, there will be a time when he shall see God in the flesh, with his own eyes. He is confessing his faith in his Redeemer, in the midst of...

Whether you think Job was 'confused' depends on your own mindset you take to scripture with you when you read. You have already convinced yourself that the soul is immortal and doesn't die. Therefore you read every scripture through those glasses. I believe no-one is immortal... And no part of...

One cannot escape from or reason away the inevitable question that arises when this topic is discussed. That question rests on the veracity of God's word. Because the general consensus by majority opinion revealed on this thread is that God has lied. When His word says the soul that sins shall...

@Giuliano you are still perpetuating that first sermon on the state of the dead by the devil... You shall not surely die. Jesus called him a liar from the beginning. I'm not so sure we should trust his declaration over other scriptures that declare otherwise. Not saying we know everything there...

Saturday... Saturnalia etc, were indeed pagan references to the 7th day. Just as Sunday is. But a very long time before paganism invented false gods the Creator of all there is, the Son of God Jesus, created all things in six literal days and in resting on the seventh blessed, sanctified, and...

No. Still here. Sometimes though you have to back off a little so as not to draw others into sin in defending themselves. He has already called the Sabbath Satan's day. By promoting theistic evolution he has suggested that God used death as a means to create. Denies the fall. Denies sin and it's...

This conversation has turned into a very lumpy custard. Some of the added ingredients make no sense at all and are contributing nothing to create an edible mix.

Satan's day? I'm not sure what day you are referring to. Jesus said He was the Lord of the Sabbath day, the seventh day of the week... John said he was communing with God on that Lord's day when he was given the vision of Revelation... The early church both Jew and Gentile met together on the...

He forgot his password and had to reinvent himself. Still bl but...

So either Satan has the power to raise the dead, or God used a witch to talk to someone He refused to talk to through righteous channels. Which one you plumping for?

Not sure why being a member of a different gang will help any either. The bloods are just as bad as the crips. They just hide it better under a guise of religious zealotry.

How did Adam arrive at the seventh day?

I'm sure they would know right?

Amen.

Continued... Comprehending the mystery of the incarnation had to have been an obsession for Jesus. He experienced the most complex, wrenching search for identity of any human who ever lived. It is certainly much more than a quantum leap to go from “I’m special and unique” to “I’m God. I created...

My wife and I sat our four-year-old daughter down between us and read from the journal we created titled, “Stef’s Life.” It contained memorable happenings from her first two years. A diary of sorts. We loved to review it together. Event #1: We had a distinguished visitor for Sabbath lunch today...

QAnon. Two years since this thread. And QAnon has become almost mainstream to the point that it has supporters standing for congress, and Christianity Today calling it a cult. The discussion has two sides. On Q's side is the contention that there's a deep state conspiracy against Trump because...

At what stage do you say to your "spiritual fathers" you are no longer following Christ as your predecessors did, therefore I refuse to place my eternal destiny in the hands of a wicked and sinful man. I will place my trust in Christ, and in Him alone. What evidence do you have that your...

Rita,I respect your desire to stay healthy, as we all do. But to blindly place the health and welfare of your own body in the hands of government is the ultimate in misplaced confidence. Governments, not in Britain nor anywhere else, have your personal best interests at heart. Programs and...

I don't think there was a great deal of outward righteous behavior when they were bustling Jesus toward a cliff top... Conspiring to kill Him... Paying judas to be a traitor... Screaming crucify Him, crucify Him"", unjustly going through a farce of a trial... Persecuting His followers and...
