Further to the above... Why do some believe error even though they have scripture before them? Dull hearts. They are not ready for truth because truth may even destroy what faith they now have. God is patient, He doesn't require we all believe the same thing at the same time. We all have our own...

I have no doubt that @bbyrd009 will correct me here, but here's my take on the so called murkiness in scripture. God has allowed the scriptures to be written in as Mark said, a certain dialectic. And this has a purpose. It enables God to teach truth to some, and hide it from others. For...

I think Christians today are losing sight of who the real enemy is. They say "we are being attacked", but yeah, by who? The political gang on the left? Or the political gang on the right? Both are gangs guys, and we are not called to join gangs. Our work is to love people in both gangs, and...

True. And isolating oneself by closing oneself off from bacteria and life with all its threats in fact weakens the immune system. It si dirt...germs...viruses...bacteria...etc etc that strengthens our immune system. Let you children play outside in the dirt and they will be the healthiest...

Not only do the scriptures reveal that Jesus has faith, but scripture informs us that God's people at the time of His coming will also have that same faith... Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Then you have missed the whole message of covenant.

I would rather live under a secular ruler who uphold a constitutional right to free speech and freedom of conscience, than a Christian ruler who would legislate Christian laws and doctrines for the "common good".

The culture from which God had called Abraham had some weird and extremely erroneous ideas about the character of God. They believed God required the sacrifice of children, and they did this constantly. Among other things. Abraham, in agreeing with the offering of isaac, would have been saying...

I agree. The democracy I would fear most is the one headed by a 'benevolent Christian'.

Before I begin - you do not have to unfollow or unfriend me if you have a different perspective than I do, but feel free to do so if you want. We are all adults here and can remain respectful when we address each other. At the end of the day, everyone wants to be healthy and happy, so we all...

Posted this on Facebook today... Fear. Makes people do things they would normally recoil away from. The war on terror resulted in people giving up many liberties their parents and grandparents died for. Fear did that. The war on covid is causing people to sleepwalk into prison and give away...

Going back to rendering to caesar etc. Daniels three friends I presume did get dressed up for the occasion. It was a swanky affair. All the dignataries of the nation were there with the king. The king was unveiling his latest building program. It was rumored to be all gold. The best bands in the...

I wrote the following ten years ago. I think it not only relevant to this discussion, but even more relevant to today's society, especially in America, than it was when I wrote it. Balaam

The first ever sermon on what takes place at death.... KJV Genesis 3 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And this has been repeated...

It isn't, which is why I say elsewhere that in theory and in it's founding documents, it's a constitutional republic, but in practice and prophetically it speaks like the dragon of Revelation 13:11...

I think Churchill was right. Democracy allows for the majority to oppress the minority, and the minority has no say in the matter. They just gotta suck it up for 3 or 4 years, and even then their say is useless. They are still the minority. America solved that issue through republicanism...

While this had an immediate fulfilment in the time of the early church, I do agree that this will find a secondary fulfilment in the end time church which in many places is being taking place now. Revelation 12 is a wonderful prophecy. But it covers vastly more time expanse than you give it...

Mark 6:7 ¶ And he called unto him His anarchists, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; 8 And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse: 9 But be shod with...

I think you could count the number of politicians who actually do work for you by setting off a fire alarm in the senate. The ones who stay are working for you.

It's akin to describing Jesus as a get out of jail free card.
