Actually we do. We will either live or die.

@Giuliano . Here is a clear unabashed exposition of the biblical understanding of soul and body without the religious and spiritualist/occult machinations of man.

The commandment said that,... KJV Exodus 20 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger...

If you are going to accuse Adventists of getting something wrong, best to make sure what it is they actually do teach before doing so. I would suggest that consumed covers things fairly well. But the question still remains that neither you nor anyone else has attempted to answer. In the dark...

So we need to understand what soul is in that context. Is the soul a sentient being without the body? Is the mind a part of the body? Is that not where or consciousness is centered? Does the mind die when the body dies? KJV Psalms 146 2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises...

One of my student'd mother was diagnosed with covid. I don't know how unwell she became. She could have just had a cold.

Question. This fire that consumed all the wicked, where was it?

Indeed. And what happened to them in the end... The second death. You can't die twice without being resurrected once. KJV Revelation 20 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. An easier way to understand this verse...

No-one but Jesus kept the 6th commandment either as the law commanded. So what are you saying?

Or perhaps the law of love is the law of the Sabbath.

Really? I can understand why people would think that. They skim over the OT and their focus is on disaster and judgement and plagues and locusts and death and war and curses and they completely miss the cross in the OT. They miss Jesus. Just like the Jews who missed Jesus in their own writings...

Advance and NZPP is a coalition, with the NZPP leader having seniority I think. Billy te Kahika is taking the country by storm... Probably not enough to make him prime minister but the way things are going their popularity is growing so fast they will have an impact.

Media Release - 24 August 2020 Proposed policy for contending party in upcoming NZ direction... PM wrong - NZ does need a new strategy The Prime Minister's insistence that New Zealand does not need a new COVID-19 strategy is wrong, says Advance NZ Co-Leader Jami-Lee Ross. "The decision today to...

Mmm. That's what I suspected. Interesting how the more we get into a conversation the more we understand one another. So, according to your understanding of scripture murder, adultery, theft, idolatry, blasphemy, etc is no longer unlawful, it just isn't expedient. Sure. Okay. This is...

It wasn't Greece nor any part of Greece that tore the city apart and destroyed the temple, killing most of the population and dispersing the remainder across the planet. Jesus said the threat, well after Antiochus, the abomination of desolation, was still to come.

That was a vision of the future from John's perspective. If I was given the same vision now,I would put it in the same words. They're dead now, but they've been raised for that purpose for which they stand then before Gods throne.

Okay, certainly agree with that. In believing you are doing precisely that and walking in obedience, and you read in the law something that doesn't harmonize with that walk, what do you do?

Worrying about masks etc is a distraction from what will eventually be the real issue as prophecy reveals, that is the state in union with the church dictating spirituality. A writer over 100 years ago described church/state relations like this... When the republic as represented by the Senate...

You explained yourself that Greece divided. The beast in one vision had four heads, the other, for horns. But the beast was still Greece, though divided. Antiochus was but a minor part of one of the heads. But still a part of Greece. Little horn didn't grow from the beast... It grew from one of...

Yes, the friend came to me to explain the situation.
