For the Christian, who by the way is now Israel, the ten commandments are promises if accepted by faith. You shall not, have other Gods... You shall not... Remember... Do not... For the one who believes, they are creative commands and promises... Covenant promises. Just as God said, let there...

KJV Romans 8 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but...

And at the risk of changing the topic and turning this very intriguing thread on its head, I would ask a question of those who believe angels can have seen with humans. Are these female angels or male? If there are two genders in heaven, do they have relations with one another, when Jesus...

Who doesn't think that romantic love is a great and wonderful blessing,a gift from a loving Father and an expression of His love and intimate love even for us, but without the sex? It is such a beautiful natural part of who we are as human. Yes, we will be like the angels and will not be...

Who's dying? Protect them. The rest of us are fine. And masks? About as effective as a wire fence to keep out mosquitos. How certain are you that the tests they are conducting are actually reliably finding covid and not detecting something else? I am so tired of hearing the constant media...

@Yehren I agree with you regarding that separation. I haven't read all their works, but I loved the writing of such as Jefferson, Madison, and also John Locke. I would ask you however seeing you are Catholic, why did Catholicism have such animosity against the constitution and against the...

Your French ancestors (mine went to England) would be rolling over in their graves hearing you deny what do many died knowing. You do not understand why the reformers believed they way they did. Not do you understand why I believe the way I do. You are seeing things superficially and because...

@Davy I wrote this over ten years ago... This is not the preterist position. I have seen nothing in history or current events to move me away from this position. Antichrist Revealed

The Beasts of Daniel…an overview.

You forgot the connection between the above and Daniel 7. But then it's one thing to connect scriptures and claim, that's the answer, it's another thing altogether to understand what the scripture is actually saying. I don't see much of that understanding and explanations in your posts. What...

Culture and the various politically correct adjustments to traditions and sometimes legal restrictions imposed on society man's we simply need to adjust sometimes... Unless those "adjustments" tend toward unrighteousness. That said, when Jesus comes, I can say quite categorically that I would...

This was only a very short time after being a Jew hating Catholic priest.

Jesus said the greatest danger in these last days was deception. Reality isn't always aligned with belief. @bbyrd009 said here recently, don't always believe what you think. The leaders admit to being Marxist. And gay. And anti family. Mmm. "Mission statement" has become quite a thing they...

The Waldensians were not Cathars. And they were not apostate Catholics. They were never at any time under the authority of the bishop of Rome. They were from the beginning Bible believing Christians and their Bibles were copied from the peshitta ...the original Italic... Not Jerome's or...

Strange you should say that. Futurist apologists insert all imaginary gap to cover the 2000 years they believe should be there, then deny the actual prophetic Revelation of that same 2000 years in Daniel and Revelation as if God want aware it would take place. Strange contradiction. Ignore it...

I don't doubt the numbers... Well, maybe I do. Not sure. I think it more a reflection of the dumb mindset now so prevalent among younger Americans that accepts Marxist socialist philosophy as harmless and nothing to be feared. Oh, and the ignorance of the influence of people such as Soros etc al...

The inquisitions though were not directed solely at "apostate Christians". For example the Waldensian crusades and the inquisition at Goa among others. These people were Christians... They just didn't accept Papal authority. And I have serious reservations concerning the following... Once any...

What Americans need to do is roundly and utterly reject the Marxist inspired BLM group, and stand behind every black and colored person in their neighborhood. Racism doesn't get fixed by renovating the house... It gets fixed by a heart transplant. And it starts with me.

Well said, and if I might be so bold as to add something, that ratification... Confirmation if you will, took place 27ad. Nothing, absolutely nothing that the apostles taught, practiced, or wrote could change that covenant. And no-one else could change it or confirm it later either. Certainly...

In that I would totally agree, and I must confess it isn't often I agree with a Catholic... No offense. However...I would add a caveat... The idea or concept of religious freedom, something that existed in Europe but only in isolated individuals, was not to be found in the church, in fact...
