@amadeus hi brother, hope all is well with you and your wife. I read through this thread and find it fascinating and can't for the life of me understand how I missed it first time around. It was an interesting conversation you had with @Enoch111 and @bbyrd009 . Some very deep questions... Was...

Lol. Logged off, tried to sign in on new device, but password didn't work. Tried for a couple of weeks, whatever password and whatever combination, nada. The email system doesn't work, so the only way to communicate again with the forum in any way is by opening another account. Starting again...

Then you need to find an explanation for the reaction of all the merchants and priests and temple guards to Jesus. Both in the temple and in the garden. I'm not denying your overall perspective, for indeed Jesus came to show is that we, in our humanity, can do as He did and overcome sin. By...

How can it have been the Father who appeared to men at various stages of history when Jesus Himself said, no one has seen the Father at any time? It was Jesus, the Son of God, who stood upon Mt Sinai and gave the law to Moses. Who allowed Moses to see a small glimpse of His back parts, but not...

Where I came from the winter was characterised by regular -5 frosts. Sometimes two weeks or more non stop. The days were nice though but would seldom rise above 10. Snow about an hour's drive away 4 months of the year. An hours drive from the coast.

Despite phonemans descriptive embellishments, the principle behind the events remain unchanged... That Jesus did have a Divine authority and that at times was on full display. Not for his own benefit, but in defense of righteousness and at times flashed through inadvertently even, maybe, like...

Thank you, although I am at a complete loss as to how the name of my church managed to find it's way in there. Most peculiar. I need to take more care in editing before posting.

Being from NZ I can confidently say you really only have two weeks of winter here. The Autumn here is like NZ summer, as is spring. Summer here, at least in Melbourne, is like a full season of the very hottest days in NZ on steroids.

You use masking tape. Sky divers have the same problem... They use anti fogging stuff they use.

Quote...Your French ancestors (mine went to England) would be rolling over in their graves hearing you deny what so many died knowing. Why is that nutty and a mockery? It isn't difficult to understand. I know all about the French Calvinists called Huguenot. Like I said, my French ancestors went...

So it seems that by nature I'm a conspiracy theorist. That means when anything important and earth-shattering takes place in my life, or in a family member's life, or in someone's life that I catch on the news whether relative or not, I question whether it's real, fake, a bit of each, genuinely...

I haven't missed anything. Jesus wasn't just any son. Nor one of many. He was the only begotten Son of God. He was Son before Bethlehem. He was Son when He created all things and rested on His holy Sabbath day, becoming Lord of that day. He was Son when He stood upon Mt Sinai and spoke to Moses...

I never considered that. That's even more ironic than my first post. All those protesters against Muslim culture now practising Muslim culture. Lol.

I think it's as troubling as it is hilarious.

... That object so much about mandatory face masks (like me) also object to facial recognition software throughout our cities (like me). Irony of ironies. *Sigh*

KJV Hebrews 1 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the...

KJV 2 Chronicles 20 20 Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. Aside from EG White, what specific theological points have you disagree with? Just curious.

Not always. @Prayer Warrior seems to have done her homework with regards LDS literature. Did you know that Ellen White is the most prolufic woman writer in history? That she wrote 30 books and thousands of letters, manuscripts, newspaper articles and journals? For anyone reading this, I...

Those so quick to denigrate Ellen G White likely haven't read anything by Ellen White except for quotes used by her enemies to misrepresent her and her ministry.

I can speak for Brakelite with a certain amount of authority, and can tell you that Brakelite found it in the Bible and he doesn't know why Desmond Ford couldn't.
