Yes for sure...to be this far along the road and not know...shame on us.

Forgot to say..a neighbour built a snowman across the road in a field.. Well, not by himself LOL he had his little daughter with him. :) The snowman is at least 8 feet tall...he had to lift his daughter to see it's face!

Pia...we could send you some of ours..that would cool you down.:D

Too late for me. Been there done that. Way back when it was "emerging" my daughter gave me a book to read on the Emergent Church saying- " Can you read this for me, I don't have time.." So I read the book written by someone who had 'emerged' ...( sounds like something slithering out of a...

Oh the churches are "alive and well" here in the city. Bad news in my book and makes mockery of the true Church...whatever that is any more!! EeeeKkkk! No wonder bbyrd009 doesn't want to be called a Christian... Obviously it ( Emergent) is catching the young people most of all. Sad...

Ha! Finally "got" the uffa. :) Never seen it before... Had to find out...I will notch that one up for future use. :)

Thanks. You mention old age/dying etc I never had a problem in receiving a healing when I was younger. God would pretty much manifest healing in my body. Some instant, some after hours, some took a few day..a couple months, but it always came. But when I got older, I think that somehow...

I can hear what you are saying. But to be honest..I found that it could also be offensive for some to read .." We are going to eat ice-cream now, but you can't have any." Sounds like a child. In my twelve years in forum life I have never before seen anyone post threads and then ask people NOT...

I thought @GodsGrace did that very well. ...in other words.." One of the family" You are in the family if you can hear Fathers voice. "My sheep hear my voice and a stranger will do not follow." Simple...that is US ...no denomination, but those out of all walks of life who hear His...

I already mentioned a private INBOX together...and as someone else said.. They could Blog it! If they don't want anyone else playing with their toys. :) Email is an option too! lol At this point, this is an open forum and Stranger has every right to post. Them are the rules.

I said it yesterday...so I will answer here. IF we add "thy will be done" at the end of the prayer..why pray? I am talking about prayers of deliverance and prayers for healing. We know that God sent Jesus to pay the price for our healing..and our deliverance. He did not send the sickness...

You speak generally...but maybe his Priest back then was very different to your priest. I can hardly believe that they all have the same light...some are old, some are younger and not as well versed...and I am sure some have their own opinions. I have not read any posts which follow this...

Thanks...I'll check it out. :) I think Stranger mentioned that once to me...but it obviously didn't click..I must go and check the verses you quoted.

Amen , Good post. I would have worded it a bit differently. I would say..He did and finished His work. If/when I am sick, it is me who doesn't get what Jesus paid for. I fall down somewhere on faith and because of something I can't see..it is me who has blocked my healing. Not Him. ( Hey, we...

Thanks very much, it sure helped me. I found that interesting and informative. And I can see it. I don't want to derail this thread... but do you hold ( like many people do) that people are already in heaven? Meaning the Heaven of Heavens? I used to believe that but now I can't see that any...

Yes, agree, obviously. My husband and many others never have in a life time heard the audible voice..but that was not my point. That takes no faith at all...listening to, waiting upon, and hearing God's inner voice is where faith is. That is the relationship. I didn't much like hearing the...

I am beginning to feel that you are making this personal now. Doesn't matter what I write, you just say the opposite. Okay..got it!

No not end this world, but Obama's and Clinton's world. We pray for him to hold back the tide of the anti-christian movement from the left. Which he is trying to do. No one , even a fool want WW3 we believe ( rightly or wrongly) that God is using him to hold back if even for a few years...

Tut tut Aspen...now be sweet. ;)

You can disagree, I knew you would. But I have spent much time in God's presence, but never in the Queen's!! And in 1975 Christmas Eve, I actually heard the audible voice of God speaking to me...the Queen has never spoken to me personally, as God did that day.
