Our friend @amadeus would give you an amen there....he and I have talked this over before....where I say blood, he says spirit...or even Spirit...as you say.. Again, for me, no beach to die on.... "And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of...

    Watch out for angels

I don't know any Christians that "have a fascination with them"..to me it's the none believers who write about them and have a fascination, as they do with all things supernatural both dark and light. You said ..quote:- "If they desire to look into these things how can they have knowledge to...

Hey Richard.... I have not seen this Thread before... and already it is on page two! You have pretty much spoken for me in your post. :) @Miss Hepburn Maybe for me personally it was because of the message of Salvation I heard from the old Pastor back in the 60's. It was for me, " a...

    Watch out for angels

@Frank Lee Frank, I believe that angels are in our lives much more than we may think. I agree their prime work is not "preaching"...but as the word angel means messenger...I don't think we can be closed to it. I can't anyway. :)

OUTSIDE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH THERE IS NO SALVATION

Thank you John for doing all the heavy homework for me....and distilling it down to a nutshell for us. :) Pretty sad place to 'live' must be lonely there where he is. Reminds me of Elijah saying to God,:- "I am I only am left..." And God 'slaps' Elijah's head saying - " I have...

    Perfection

What a lovely post Amadeus...I enjoyed all your thoughts re Daniel...very refreshing. I have not looked at the book for some time. I believe God looks at us and sees either a straight heart or a crooked heart. In my book, straight means a seeking heart...not perfect as totally faultless but...

    Understanding Christ's Natures

Agree, how sad is that! So we can guess that the only reason he is here then is with a message of condemnation. Why come here to this Site unless it is to tell us how lost we all are. ( and how self-righteous is that! ) BUT, that said...WE are happy enough in our confidence of the...

Self analysis of your Christian witness

Thanks @ScottA Slowly, slowly... But I am not sure in that, that I can see the answer fully, about freewill "in -time" I can see it before time began..but it is slipping away from me about freewill NOW in 'time'. But never mind...I will just go back over posts and see if I can understand...
