The you see dimly for the word is Elohim, which means heavenly Being.

To be clear, I am putting AGENCY on the table. Agency is a principle used throughout Scripture and is a way to use language even to the present. When people say, "Hitler killed 4M Jews," they don't mean it literally. Rather, he ordered his agents to do it. On the detailed HOW of Creation...

Let's not turn this into the forbidden subject. The "us in question being discussed is Angels. Let's stick to that.

I could be wrong but it seems many of your posts contain this golden nugget of wisdom. :)

LANGUAGE USAGE: Using the term "form" is how one knows it is NOT what it is in the form of. 'My uncle's swimming pool was in the form of a kidney.' It remained a swimming pool. If something IS a thing, there is no purpose to say it is merely in the form of that thing. My birthday cake WAS...

I meant to add that the vid nicely identifies what is going on: the revocation of freedom of speech AND the elimination of the right to remain silent. As they are requiring you to speak. What's more she details what going along with it implies; that the other person is entitled to MAKE YOU go...

You got it. "Like" is not equal. Equal has already been defined. Two of the most different life forms remain "like" in that they are living. "Is" affirms identity, which is different from someone thought something. I thought Joe to be at lunch is not the same factual statement as it IS the...

This is a massive pathway for Satan, to use the infantalizing of young people as a reason you cannot speak the truth. IF you speak the truth, it will violate what is being called the Tyranny of Politeness. The truth seems rude or offensive and those indoctrinated as being infantlized was...

There are 2 things that stand out to me. Twisted NOT Thought not IS. 1. Some want to read the sentence as if it does not have a negation. If one says he was NOT over my house at 6 PM, it states a negative; it does not state the positive of what time he did come over your house, presuming...

That’s why I put him on ignore a long time ago. Punching the air. That’s a good expression.

That’s a shame. Some struggle with critic of their IDOL.

Not an answer to @face2face question, now is it? The deity of Christ really has nothing to do with the point. Agreed, YHWH is the Creator WHO created but HOW he created is not detailed. One more point, is the word there is not "God" but heavenly being. In the beginning Elohim created heaven...

Not even a little bit does it demonstrate mutual exclusivity. Not even a little bit. The word Bible means book.Usually, literature is contained in books. So, to say a particular book is not literature is just playing word games. I'll withdraw from your thread now.

Not sure why you deem these mutually exclusive. It seems you want to deny the book has a genus. Jesus is a man. You say Jesus is not a man but rather a work of the Spirit of God. Again, both apply. They are not mutually exclusive.

A remarkable quote from the video is Jordan confessed that he was shocked to realize what he believed. This brilliant man was so head smart that it took a while for him to get passed his mind to discover what laid in his heart of hearts.

Jordan Peterson had an amazing encounter with heaven and the Holy Spirit who could not give the gifts because Peterson was not ready to receive it.

A common technique to rationalize violating the Sabbath is the fallacy of Perfection. Since people do not or cannot always devote every second of that day to being in rest filled, quite, contemplative communion with our Creator, then there is absolutely no restriction on doing whatever the world...

Seems to me that the Sabbath is the most violated of the 10 Commandments.

You know the words but not the proper application. Do you suppose when Jesus returns, he will do as you do; come on a website to prove or disprove folks beliefs AS the utimate arbiter of reality?

IMO, this is why many rightfully hate Christians who use God's word, not to enlighten, but bludgeon. We are all traveling on our Spiritual journey but are not all at the same point along that journey.
